We've seen more of these reports over the last couple of months, but none were reproducable.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

In the /var/log/messages log file of OpenPli 6 there are many entries with the message

vuduo2 authpriv.err vsftpd: pam_listfile(vsftpd:auth): Couldn't open /etc/vsftpd.ftpusers

What is the reason for this message ?

Could very well be a glitch caused by hardware.

This mornings update of RC6 (which only contained a new version of Openwebif) breaks Openwebif. The reciever works normally, but the webif can't be reached (so people who rely on it can better not update now).

Seems bootloader corrupted after update.

This is not possible as far I know.... But with VU+Duo the power supply could be damaged, which is a known hardware failure'

All known problematic capacitors were replaced.

There are multuply messages about dead Duos after flashing with 6RC at Russian VU support forum.

My Duo worked fine yesterday before re-flashing with 6RC. After that I'v got dead one.

No.

The size of the image is larger than the size of the flash.
