It will not install on OpenPLi.  But that does not matter.

 

For the News Channels there is an error in the conf files.

Open rytec__new__rytec_general_xmltv__xz_version_.conf  file (presumably somewhere under usr/crossepg)

 

and delete in epg_url_0  epg_data/  making it a similar url as the others.

This is the reason you do not have EPG for the news channels

 

and in the file: rytec__new__rytec_danmark_xmltv__xz_version_.conf

 

replace rytec.channels-denmark.xml.xz with rytec.channels.xml.xz

At the moment this does not make a difference.  But I have integrated the Nordic channels in the rytec.channels.xml file.  In the future the old channels files per country will disappear.

You can do the same with the Swedish, Finnish and Norwegian files.

I have no files of that name.

I would think crossepg have all that integrated into a databasefile, there are no config files anywhere to be found.

So im unable to change that.

 

Could you provide me with a download link for xmltvimport.ipk , maybe i can get that working here?

What a sec, i´m a clown, i was looking via windows explorer.

Thats also why i did´nt see the downloaded file.

I see the files if i use a DOS Telnet.

It wil download to the current directory. In this case, ~, which is /home/root.

That is not the latest, as that would be called "epgimport", not "xmltvimport".

When installed in BH, its correct its called epgimport.

In OpenPLi it is called epgimport too.

 

Why do you need a download link? Isn't it part of your image? What image are you using?

I was trying to get it working in BH, since i had problems with crossepg.

Also tried OpenPLI, but could not get HBBTV working, to changed back to BH for now.

Can't comment what you need in BH, you'll have to ask BH to make sure their importer plugin is up to date.

 

If they use our source, while you're at it also inform them that the source repository has changed, they need to build from https://github.com/O...sions-epgimport now.

We use CrossEPG in the BH image.

Plugin works without any problems.

 

Why is there a problem?

 

Because we do not have information related to changes.

 

I would ask Willy to inform us when he make changes.

 

EpgImport does not work on VU + based images.

works on the Open Black Hole image.

Willy is in the process of switching sources from gz to xz files, and also the sources have been split into multiple files to allow for more granular downloads, so the xml file with the sources now has a nested structure.

 

So I assume CrossEPG needs to be made compatible with this new format?

It's already compatible for new xz files .The BH coder has made the changes you can find in CrossEPG git

It took some time to get working, but its running now.

but it is not a solution without a change in the VU + coding
