Hi,
Is there an ipk file available for epgimport? I need to update it but the plugin downloads are not working on my box.
Thanks
Mike
Hello!
I had to update my OpenMB 5 manually recently.
I found this on a forum (community) related to your VU+-box: enigma2-plugin-extensions-xmltvimport_1.0+git124+a64fbeb-r0.0_mips32el.ipk
I'm not shure if the rules of this forum allows me to link directy to that site.
I had a hard time to get it working. gz-files did work fine but everytime i tried to import xz-files, the box "hung" with a spinner in the left upper corner. I tried to fiddle with channel and source-files, but no luck.
After i updated Libc6 to version 2.25 it started to work :-). Did not work with 2.24!
Remember to update rytec.sources.xml because it was outdated in the package I installed.
The xmltvimport-ipk is depending on other packages. At least these versions: python-lzma_0.0.8-r0.0_mips32el.ipk, liblzma5_5.2.2-r0_mips32el.ipk, and libc6_2.25-r0_mips32el.ipk (if mips32el is your box-architecture)

Oh yes this is the problem.. I don't know what had happened to vodafone, perhaps they will fix it.
So that means that If I switch to your sources I will have the same problem
I ask you so because I switched from my sources from my NAS to rytec and no guide
Am I correct?
Thanks Willy

Willy a very strange problem with Cyta I tried to replace untill vodafone had fixed the epg
On the site the guide is correct when I try to grab the first day is correct and after there is guide from other channels can you check please the below?
Check Discovery today is correct and tomorrow 17 December it says "Euronews Weekend" all the day and the other days 18, 19 other channels
Very crazy I use the below from siteini file and the xmltv_id I had corrected according to my reciever channels

Discovery channel

Discovery Science

Animal Planet

IDX

TLC

I had grabbed the below guide.xml file from those sources

Yes, Willy thank you very much it is not in Greek but no problem.
I don't know what is the problem with Cyta, the strange thing is that the guide in the site is correct but when I grab it it is mixed with other channel's guide.
And in cyta's site, the guide for the channels I care for, is in English, best guide for me was Vodafon's I don't know why they had not updated it, I will keep checking the site if they fix it.
Thank you Willy again for your help

Hi everyone, I have a problem with epgimport.
I put the fix that you did, now I download xz file but it remains blocked ([EPGImport] afterDownload /tmp/epgimport.xz) does not decompress it, I'm not sure why it uses lzma to decompress it and my version says "lzma: epgimport.xz: File format not recognized ". (I can not update lzma gives me various errors).
But if I unzip the file with xz (instead of lzma) it decompresses it without problems.
so I ask you if you can have a fix to make sure that epgimport uses xz instead of lzma, thanks.
I have otherwise if there are any alternative links with gz sources to use, thanks.
Greetings.

Ah ok, as the fix was released in this post, I thought I should have made the request here to change the fix for my problem. Then I repeat the request in the other post you indicated, thanks.
Greetings.

Hi,
i use the german basic and common epg files a week now, but since some days, the epg_common.xz (decompressed to xml) contain some xml errors: the end tags of <programme> are missing at the end of the "programme"-block(s) changing to "channel"-block(s) and before the root end tag </tv>.
I hope it is the right forum here and someone is able to correct this or knows the people to announce it to.
Thank you

Should be OK now.
There was indeed an error in the file (missing closing tags </programme>
