As the title says SAT>IP client is broken, tuners are never added to tuner list.
I wonder why this is never been reported before O.o

Guess nobody uses it? Or can't be bothered to report it? I don't think anyone in the team has something to test it with.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Works just fine on OpenATV 6.1
Please git pull diff as Pli has the best locale support, still Openatv has german all over English and Greek menus

The fact that another image works doesn't mean anything. You can't really compare the two.
Fact remains someone with the option to test it must have a look at it.

Did you install satipclient or you simply installed plugin enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-satipclient?
If you did install satipclient and it doesn't work uninstall and try attached ipk.

I set default tuner to Tuner C which is a Sat>ip tuner in my setup.
After I do that. I have to change the channel 3 times before it works.
It doesn't work after startup (form deep standby). I have to changes channels as well for a few times.
So It does sort of work for me, when the two internal tuners are used by recordings to get additional tuners to watch. I am able to manage that behaviour by hand.
They are not usable as default for recording, because the tuner does not work by default.

what are you saying? The sat>ip client installed from the normal OpenPLi plugins doesn't work?
If you are stating that, I find it a better solution to try to find the problem and fix it.
If we are all using plugins from different sources, I fear this will never gets fixed properly.

What I am saying is that enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-satipclient seems to miss depends to satipclient.
Without satipclient it's logical that tuners never added to list.
So if somebody installed only enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-satipclient without installing satipclient, don't except SAT>IP to work.

So for me the remaining problem is: Why do I have to change channels several times before the sat>ip tiner starts working?
I seems to be sort of an initialisation problem when changing tuners or starting the box.

Because it's a lousy system on an enigma2 receiver. It's a very complex way to implement something that is already available implemented in a far better way: http streaming.

Am feeding Xbox One's digital DVB-T2 USB X 4 out of an orange pi pc to an enigma box that sucks proper support after vuplus abandon it to a "just fix compile issues and look the other way".
