This looks like a limitation in your setup. For all quad PiP services you will need a free tuner. If you're not using SCR then it's mostly unlikely that will be possible.

On the other hand it may indicate a bug in the FBC handling, but in that case it would not only be related to quadpip. Try it like this: make recordings of all channels you'd like to see in quadpip and see if that works. If it doesn't, it's not quadpip's fault (which I suspect).

Looks like it, I experience the same. I believe there was mention of this issue before.

Ja zit nog een bugje in de drivers. Is volgens mij al bekend bij VU+.

I don't know if this is new but I just noticed that there's another issue with sound: On e.g. Das Erste HD in the top left corner the second audio track (audio description) is used although I've set the channel to audio track 1.

I have random crashes of this plugin on Duo4k. When plugin opened for 2nd time, then works OK, with no changes on my part. Here is crashlog to examine. Driver problem?

Hi, just to say that I'm using this quadpip plugin with the latest 8.2 image and I had a few problems in the beginning but here is the solution that worked for me.

First I don't have a VU 4K, I have a Gigablue UHD UE 4K instead and I can say that the online version of the plugin that we can download trough the "Download Plugins" option is no good and keeps crashing and the menu shows under the channels squares, so I think is not the lasted version.

What I did to fix it and now is running smooth without any problems was after downloaded that online version from the plugins menu, I replace it physically all files directly on the plugin folder (/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/SystemPlugins/QuadPiP) by the downloaded files from the original GITHUB project repository here:

https://github.com/O...plugins-quadpip

them a reboot after that all working with all features without any crashes or problems.

Hope the OpenPLI team can fix/update the online version so it's easier for everyone to install and use the quadpip without the needs for some manual operations that for some users I thinks it's difficult to do.
