@samsamsam
Thanks again, I've tested all dependencies built by bitbake on sh4, mipsel and arm.. and all three platforms are now passing the initial wizard without asking questions.
Furthermore, I've tested your plugin on my spark triplex (7162) receiver.. and I just had to set a valid cache path (to my usb flash disk).
Playing back various videos from different addons works, including downloading and displaying subtitles.
Great job!

Looking forward to testing it all!!!

*I luv tha': "iptvplayer swears on the ducktatpe"... Glorious!

Well here's the update: https://github.com/O...e-core/pull/384
- duktape updated to SSS' 2.1.99
- duktape and hlsdl now install to /usr/bin/
- Add uchardet as a dependency for IPTV Player
After this is been merged and built into the feeds for the nightly builds, users can simply install the "iptvplayer-deps"-package from the extensions-section in the plugin browser.
Then IPTV Player will pass the initial wizard in one go, without asking questions.

Ach, so it won't be included with the installation of IPTV Player itself?
Posted 24 December 2017 - 14:12
I do not need to include it in the installation. The player itself should be standard. Openpli-6.1 installs components from the plug-in server. In my build the components from the plug-in server do not work, but now I have installed the components and everything works. Thank you very much for the work done.

In my build.
-duktape updated to version 2.2.0
Installing IPTV player.
error:
Configuring hlsdl. Configuring lsdir. Configuring uchardet. Configuring enigma2-plugin-extensions-iptvplayer. Configuring iptvsubparser. Collected errors: * check_data_file_clashes: Package libfontconfig1 wants to install directory /var/cache/ But that path is currently a file * opkg_solver_install: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-extensions-iptvplayer. root@dm8000:~#
But no problem so far, pluginin installed and working.
When start plugin. Error:
Fatal Error! Openssl could not be found. Please install it and retry.
Well that could be, because i'm on openssl 1.1.0g. So i applied patch to bypass check.
After that, duktape 2.1.99 is deprecated, do you want to download new ...blablabla... answer NO.
No questions and errors anymore.
So far so good..

Oh and I believe iptv player should check for the specific 2.1.99 iptv version 5 string.
Thats why the updated recipe contains the source code posted by SSS and not the official 2.2.0 version.
Wait..i'll check again..

duktape installed
duktape - 2.2.0-r0
But can't run binary from command line.. duktape not found.??
It still needs 2.1.99
Create patch to convert version from 2.2.0 to 2.1.99 as workaround.
