Why not edit it using the satellites.xml which is already present int /etc/tuxbox?

If you have a satellites.xml file in /etc/enigma2, it will overwrite the system one. Double check the location and update/delete it.

This xml file has the position.

@dog-man,

What are you running on your box? Just flashed a box with 6.0-release, and it does have the correct xml.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

The satellites.xml in 6.1-rc is dated 22/12, and also contains 1.9E.

Are you fiddling with channel editors by any chance? Or use an external channel list? Most of these overwrite the one supplied by the image, and not always with a better version.

To restore the original:

opkg update && opkg install tuxbox-common --force-reinstall

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Not using any channel editor, just TS-Satellite editer.

Then something put it there, because normally it's in /etc/tuxbox. Restored a backup that contained it?

Delete it and then restart. It overrides the system version.

By the way, is satellies.xml file updated through online update even if I do not update my channel list this way?

Satellites.xml is a system file, it will get updated on image update.

Does not apply to personalised version it /etc/enigma2

OK, good to know.

And one more thing. Does the OpenPLi's satellites.xml file include MIS transponders?
