  1. Update the package index:
    # sudo apt-get update
  2. Install liblocale-msgfmt-perl deb package:
    # sudo apt-get install liblocale-msgfmt-perl

but not works , help please

For msgfmt you need to install gettext

sudo apt install gettext

For java(for those who has problem with it)

sudo apt install default-jre

Zip not tested by myself, but that should be just 'zip'

sudo apt install zip

thanks master; works commands ...

after this error this log..

Sorry i never had that error.

After search in repo, you can try

sudo apt-get install liblocale-gettext-perl

(Ubuntu)

Perhaps someone else knows how to fix that.

@atlas35

root olarak gedit veya başka bir program ile şu satırları başındaki işareti kaldır.

en_US.UTF-8 UTF-8

tr_TR.UTF-8 UTF-8

sudo gedit /etc/locale.gen # dili seçiniz
sudo locale-gen # dili güncelle

Sorun yaşamak istemiyorsan, sana tavsiyem Debian8 kullanman olacaktır. Debian9 1 ay kullandım ve geri 8 e dönüş yaptım :)

@engineerkhan15

I'll have to redo the bbappend for FFMpeg.. the configure options are a mess..

It's still on my TODO list.. so it will break for now on ARM64.

Try to see what configure options are required for aarch64 and specify them here:

meta-openpli/recipes-multimedia/ffmpeg/ffmpeg_3.%.bbappend

Just in case it helps, here are the log files

I also found this where this is an arm64 version of ffmpeg

https://www.johnvansickle.com/ffmpeg/

I don't understand why are you using debian or other distributions when you can use Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS and http://users.telenet...npliubuntu.html and why do you think I can help when I'm using Ubuntu myself?

Thanx for this really usefull post masters:)

Dear engineerkhan15, will you compile an image for k1 pro or k1 plus or any kind of K boxes?I have a k1 plus s2/t2 box.

I tried to compile for Wetek Play2 and K1 Pro but both times it stuck at 51% due to an error in ffmpeg compilation. Now waiting for some solution.
