I agree, it can be so. I'll do tomorrow some tests with it, the mystery must be solved! I take this image, post #72 with my dm920. First I try the ftp, without password (the clean image). Then I try set passwd and try ftp with port 21 without reboot. In any case, I recommend to avoid anomalies make the restart, if the pass is changed. So can be sure, that the root permissions are correctly added. I give my results in tomorrow.

Even without password all OK. I do not know, what some users doing wrongly.

And whit my sattuners MCM45308X  on the second sattuner B  dyseqc 1.0 and 1.2   >  not working !

 

Sattuner A  >  have i dyseqc 1.1

Sorry, I do not have 4K TV. My Sony is only 1080p capable. But I asked from friend, who looks with the same image and dm920 with 4K TV and he said to me 'no problem'.

You have sattuners MCM45308X? Can you do a screenshot from Info->System info?

OK, I tried with my TV it out (without pressing to OK). There is no such option, like 2160p 60hz. I'll add the possible options.

OK, thanks! About this BCM45308X unicable fbc Multistream tuner I can't confirm, because we here don’t have such complicated models to try.
You will find a variety of drivers for the tuner, but I'm not sure that this will help. Thus, with some software, this tuner works OK?

With this image it (BCM45308X) should work. Interesting that with this image works also many other things, what we've got at the moment NOK with dm900/dm920.

Dream multimedia has new drivers for Drb 920


 dm920 and dm900 hardware drivers

- fixed possible mode switching problems on hdmi output with 4K modes
- fixed support for high bitrate transponders (45000 8PSK 5/6 is now working okay on all tuners)
- no CI support for transponders with such high bitrates yet!

But tuner b   (dyseqc 1.0 & 1.2)  is not to use together whit tuner a (dyseqc 1.1)  whit this update
