Hi Zeros, thanks very much for all the images you had built for me and I felt regrettable to find out it works well only on my 2nd attempt on the flashing of your initial 1st image dated 7th July 2018 which I do not understand why it continue to reboot non-stop on my 1st installation attempt.

I had noticed that the Osd size in this image had been adjusted to fit the Tv screen for the top & bottom right corner. Could you teach me how to do this please?

I couldn't quite understand your description, but I understand it's related to the Skin. Try to swap your Skin and to do this you need to enable the ‘Expert setup’ under User mode. Some TV’s can configure it, but my Sony also will not let to do it. So try PLi-HD Skin instead the default skin.

to MasterG and Persian Prince ... as this unoficial opli could you please make a liitle change like i already mentioned it in this topic https://forums.openp...very-important/

its about to make a update for epgcache in short time instead of 60min which is the default value ... :)

I will make this available for you but not as a global thing and probably with a switch or something.

Persian Prince you forgot about this ... please do it for dm520

Done: https://github.com/P...22aea887753fe36

Example for dm520:

Change https://github.com/P...e/dm520.conf#L7 to

MACHINE_FEATURES += "libpassthrough recovery epgcache1"

Test image: http://www.mediafire...tfs.tar.xz/file (I'm not sure about the boot status of the image itself)

Others could use "epgcache1" feature too as it seems it's a good feature for EPG: https://forums.openp...very-important/

Good luck :)

thank you so much persian prince but the link of mediafire don't work

https://github.com/o...c13b9024070d095

should be openpli enigma2 source not full compality. Look at some patch

Old dvb api patch for enigma2: https://github.com/P...ld_dvbapi.patch

Unfortunately It doesn't solve the issue

https://github.com/o...fb601194a53a94f

[alien5] add some hacks for testing
https://github.com/o...a96d45349a6078e

https://github.com/o...c13b9024070d095

should be openpli enigma2 source not full compality. Look at some patch

ioctl(m_fd, FE_READ_STATUS

If you have already a build environment setup for openatv can you build an image for alien5 and upload it? I have a shitty internet so it would take much time to download another build environment.

Thanks

bumperbee , next image dm7020hdv2 ready for test. (OE core up to date)
As we still don't know if the last changes works or not, please test and report.

Have you made a fullbackup from your good state? If not, do it before that test.
In this test, if it works, the feed is immediately OK. You need to experiment with your fullbackup as well. A good chance to do it now.
I hope the best and if the TEST image will not boot, try to flash your fullbackup then.

At the moment, build environment is giving error due to a bitbake bug. But here are the official images of OpenATV & Pur-E2 for Alien5:
