At the moment, build environment is giving error due to a bitbake bug. But here are the official images of OpenATV & Pur-E2 for Alien5:

the openatv image is dated 2018/06/01 So it doesn't include the hacks that takitr pointed

If there are any people here have successfully ran openpli on these devices(alien5, k2pro) I am want to collect some information for development, if you could executes these commands in your box and post the output I would appreciate it:

find /proc/stb/ -type f |xargs  -I % sh -c "echo $'file -%:\n' ;cat %"

cat /proc/bus/nim_sockets

lsmod

execute each command and post the output on pastebin

also does anyone know what is the function of se2io_se kernel module and lkdosth tool that comes with the alien5 image ?

I better test it for the DM800 maybe the dm520 image has boot problem so now i have to make some changes in dm800.conf :

No that was the example for dm520, for dm800 it will be like:

Thank you very much Zeros.

With latest image (I try only this from 13 July) most of issues I have in the past with openPLi images are solved. Now triple tuners DVB-S/C/T work like in DreamOS - can watch TV from DVB-S or DVB-C and record/PIP from DVB-C. Only one issue still remain - I use multichannel amplifier for sound via HDMI (CEC-HDMI is on and working). Amplifier support all current formats for digital audio. Unfortunately with all version of openPLi (including your latest image) when watch 4K channels with AC3+ audio there is no sound. Only way to have sound is to turn on downsample. In original DreamOS images no such issue. For example 13.0E Hotbird 11373H/27500 - NASA UHD
And one small issue - oscam-emu died immediately after start. Updating with latest version oscam-svn11425-arm_dream-webif-emu clear the issue.

With last image (pure2/openatv), media player show video ok, but sound only 5 seconds... OpenPli show message: streams not found (no audio/no video)...
