It might be better for you to upload the actual failure log file. Look at the output, it will tell you exactly where it is.

While trying to compile for amlogic-p230 I encountered this error, any suggestions:

@gorski a little offtopic, but from your screenshots I see that PurE2 has been built using OE-A Core 4.2 using a git snapshot from gstreamer (which will soon be branched into 1.14).

But would you happen to know if (and where) they host the source for their PurE2 enigma2 fork?

It gives me a great pleasure, m8, to present you with this:

Thank you gorski my friend :)

It's nice the team decided to make their e2 source public.. as it was forked from public work anyways ;)

I'll have a look in their kitchen soon.. too bad they didn't upload their commit-history, but great job nevertheless!

Indeed!

The old PB Team had a bad history with some commercial guys before, stealing stuff and singularly minded to make money only, not crediting and wreaking a havoc on their server, from what I heard and from what I remember, hence their decision...

On the good side, though: many really important developments that came from PB Team (Graugans and Delfi in particular, especially on SH4 platform and ARM for WeStek :D etc. etc.) have always found their way back into the community, mainly under other people's nicks... So, nothing important was lost to the community, for sure... Except maybe PB's Centre with abolished automount and awesome Device Manager, which to this day, I deem the best possible option... But... who's listening to me...??? :P

It's a real shame that is lost... I will speak to the guys (Terrajoe in particular) and I will ask them to release the code to the public, maybe this can still find its way back to life, since it would be GREAT to have that option, especially with some older machines, with limited flash, as the Centre contains all the tools needed to make it all work great, a very PB special version of (Flash) Expander included in it by default.

Keep on ploughing, I say... :)

* New unofficial test build for Fulan sh4 (spark/spark7162)

Download: https://mega.nz/#F!v...DLHfab11t5_y5Sg

- Now built using -O2 instead of -Os, it feels a bit faster now

- Disabled zram by default as it slows down things

- Includes gstreamer 1.14 as well (thx Taapat)

- Uchardet upgraded to git version

- Merged PLi's latest enigma2 rev: 9310a05

- Built using latest openpli-oe-core rev: ab347d9

- Many cleanups and fixes

- Removed serviceapp

* Note: zram is disabled by default since we're using extra memory from video ram.

This breaks PIP, but that was limited to SD-channels anyways.

If you still want to use zram, login using telnet and issue the following commands:

touch /etc/.zram
reboot

* Note2: serviceapp has been removed in favor of Taapats service-player for libeplayer3 and gstreamer.

The playback system is set to libeplayer3 by default, which provides the same playback functionality as serviceapp + exteplayer3 as default player.

If you'd like to swtich to gstreamer 1.14, you can do this by going to: Menu -> Settings -> System -> Usage Setup (this requires a restart of enigma2)

Exteplayer3 (and now also gstplayer) is still included for use with IPTV Player :)

please submit a PR then :)

I have never submitted a PR on github. A new user of github.

But have submitted now, can you do me a favour to check and let me know that have I done it correct?

You've committed a new patch with a new name.. but didn't change the kernel recipe (.bb file) to include the new file in the SRC_URI.

I have closed old PR and submitted a new PR after making changes to the original file. Can you have a look at it and tell me is it OK now?

Yeah, you've updated the original patch instead of adding a new one :)

Great job!

Merged :)

I was unable to build for the dm800 due to an error with glibc_2.19:

Error 134
| make: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
| localedef: loadlocale.c:129: _nl_intern_locale_data: Assertion `cnt < (sizeof (_nl_value_type_LC_TIME) / sizeof (_nl_value_type_LC_TIME[0]))' failed.
| qemu: uncaught target signal 6 (Aborted) - core dumped

Adding the following patch to glibc_2.19.bb has helped to complete the build:

Attached File  gracefully_handle_incompatible_locale_data.patch   613bytes   8 downloads

Note: I've grabbed the patch from https://patchwork.oz...g/patch/521143/

We've never used oscam.cc ?

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
