Dear doglover,

 

What's wrong with the attached crossepg log file?

 

No EPG downloaded for french channels.

You may have a problem, with the internet connection.  No channels file is downloaded.

The URL's mentioned in the log file just work.  At least I tried  3 URL's and they download the channels file.

When no channels file is download, it does not make sense to go further.  Because the program does not know then to which channel to attach the EPG.

 

 

Furthermore, I would advise to use EPGimport instead of CrossEPG.

I have no idea how to use EPGilmport, is there any tuto or some steps to follows?

 

For info, 03 systems of EPG are installed on my box "CrossEPG, OpenEPG and EPGimport.

EPGimport: just configure it in the opening screen.  (time to import, delete everything before importing and any other setting you prefer.)

 

Select the sources to import by pressing the Blue button.

Select the one's which you prefer.  Up en Down arrows and OK

Save it with the green button.

Try to install  EPGimport-rytec.

On OpenPLi this is automatically installed when installing EPGimport.  On your image it is maybe not.

Hi Willy, i can see no EPG on "La Chaine Meteo" 1:0:19:2077:432:1:C00000:0:0:0 and "Cstar Hits France" 1:0:19:24C2:43C:1:C00000:0:0:0 on 19,2E. Is it possible to take a look?

Hi Willy I have 2 problems.

 

1st. In EPG import configuration, I can't choose to delete everything before importing, I have Automatic import, Time to Import, Deep sleep Mode Import or not, Days to choose to Import, Import after boot, Show EPG Import in extension menu, in main menu, Load Epg for fav only, load descriptions for X days... Sorry for bad translation but it's in french. 

 

So how do I do to erase EPG before I download? I'm using VTI 14 and E Chanelizer to export my channel lists with picons and epg (for IPTV) to my Ultimo 4K

 

2nd. A few channels have no EPG, even when I choose them in E chanelizer: Paramount Decale is always empty, I choose paramountchanneldecale.fr in the list (it's given as cable channel) but it's blank for a while, is it my receiver? My EPG.dat file (I've erase it manually 2 times...) EPG Import or E Chanelizer? I've found an EPG at https://programme-tv...00000MyV1v.html , I don't know if it can help...

Same problem with Trace Tropical which is an IPTV channel It's blank, I found an EPG at https://www.programm...opical-395.html , idem for Mysports1 which is a swiss IPTV sport channel (2 versions fr and de, I watch the fr channel): it used to work fine but since many days it's empty, the mysports channel (no number) which is a kind of portal has never given any EPG.

 

Last thing SuperOne HD which is an erotic channel is blank too... I've chosen in Echanelize the .ero source: empty, the same with .svn... I've found http://www.programy-...rogram=16639490 that shows the EPG, but it's on 1°w too, not mentionned in Echanelizer, is the problem coming from them? ANother erotic channel not showing anything is Stars XXX, mentionned in .ero file (on 1°E???) but not giving anything when programmed with Echanelizer...

 

Just an advice: for Penthouse Black, you can copy 1:0:1:421E:2F44:13E:820000:0:0:0 EPG from 13E to 1:0:19:19D0:444:1:C00000:0:0:0 on 19.2 it's the same channel... Libido Tv 1:0:19:19CF:444:1:C00000:0:0:0 can be found at  https://www.libido-t...des-programmes/

 

Can you help me in finding why these channels don't work with my configuration?

You are probably using an old version of the plug-in.  Ask the people of the VTI  image, to update the plug-in on their feed.

 

The other problems, I will examine this afternoon.

Something in your receiver is not correct.

 

There is a solution for this, but you need the latest version of the epgimport plug-in for this.  So...

Trace Tropical has data in the IPTV source.  (Under general - all the way at the top)

For Paramount Decale and Trace tropical (in general every channel that has no sat reference, or a sat ref which is not in your lamedb) you can try the following:

 

Ope the e-channelizer channels file (it is should be somewhere in /etc/epgimport/, maybe in a subfolder) in an editor (PSPad of Notepad++ are fine)

Find the line for the channel in question.

Add to this line:  htpp://www.example.com

So it looks like this one:

<!-- Cable --><channel id="ParamountChannelDecale.fr">1:0:19:1B03:B54:1:FFFF02D1:0:0:0:http://www.example.com</channel><!-- PARAMOUNT DECALE HD -->

Save the file.

The import only works for channels in the lamedb file.  Cable channels mostly are not.

The above tells the importer to import EPG without checking lamedb.

Hello , i am green in EPG problems but on VU+DUO 2 ,i have problems with adult channels EPG on 13°E:

on REDLIGHT HD I can get EPG for the first time  then I go on the channel and I get "24/7 Erotique" and no more EPG,

the same on HUSTLER HD  .Also rest SD erotic programs from 13 E wont show any EPG.I read this topic but have no idea how to do this and from where download proper file to fix this.Please for solution guys . ;)Thanks.

First of all:  did you select the erotic file under the general heading?

 

For both the channels you mention above, I have EPG on my receiver.  So there is data for it.

Understand however, that EPG for these erotic channels is not straightforward.  It is not always published, or kept up-to-date.
