is there working bitrate viewer for vu+ zero 4k reciever? the one in download plugins section doesn't show video bitrate at all, only audio

Indeed I had it also with the vu+ zero 4k. I replaced it with a mutant hd51 uhd and there it works. Seems like a vu+ driver problem (if I remember correctly also the resolution of streams didn't show on the vu+).

There is some bug in the tuner. Same issue as the 0%-99% fault. Unless this is solved no bitrate viewer will produce results...

remove all bitrate viewers, install this manually, installation is more for experienced users or just wait for an ipk

only difference, this one gives syntax how to use it, I made bit_rate.sh for myself, the plugin is even not needed, just binary, python code (latest) is nearly the same

The bit rate file in post #7 does not work for me in the Zero 4K.

that won´t work straight away, there are two binaries:
/usr/bin/bitrate and /usr/bin/bitrate_armhf, if you have armhf box delete /usr/bin/bitrate and rename /usr/bin/bitrate_armhf to /usr/bin/bitrate and make it executable, if you have mipsel box you just need to make /usr/bin/bitrate executable, I mentioned already, for expereinced users and just for testing

I posted the same package on OpenATV, nobody reported it is not working (well it was HD51 not showing bitrates), we need some more response

bitrate in mutant work very well.....some problems i thing in rezolution 4k with high bitrate....freez..for example with UHD1 and EUROSPORT 4K...i remove bitrate plugin and everything its ok now with UHD1 by HD+

No bitrate file is in Components/converters.
The bit_rate.sh file was given execute permissions.

It might help to make this plugin easier to install if you want more response. At minimum, separate the mips and arm files. Maybe make one folder for each? Users will have problems installing it like it is now.

HD51 never had any problems with the bitrate plugin.

 

The biggest issue for me is that no one has yet made a new converter that will read individual values from this plugin and display them on demand wherever a skinner wants in their skins... I wish I could do that myself!

I remember vaguely that bitrate  was shown in his skins with an external converter, about HD51, that was reported on OpenATV, no information which plugin was used
