That's right. It is USB 3 but its working on a USB 2 port (Ubuntu) and it worked in OpenPLI 6.1

I am using F1 with external USB3.0 Verbatim 1TB (Samsung HDD inside) without any problem (develop)...

The problem seems to be the USB Sata Controller, not USB 3 itself. Can you figure out the controller in your verbatim Device ? lsusb id or by dmesg ?

I have it connected via powered USB2 hub (due consumption versus boxes USB2 port)  and cannot unplug it yet . Here is my lsusb.

better use this lsusb, delete /usr/bin/lsusb and replace it with this one (make it executable)

lsusb reports an Innostor Device

Ok, so this one it detects fine, it sees EXT4, and has mounted it.

 

It should be mounted on /media/usb if it is the only USB device, or on /media/sda1 if not. Unless the disk has a label, in which case the label is used for the mountpoint.

Kein multiboot.

meine externe Seagate Festplatte wird unter OpenPli 6.2 nicht erkannt, beim 6.1 Image schon.

Ist eine USB3.0 Festplatte.

kommt wieder nichts angeschlossen.

Warum funktionierts bei Openpli 6.1?

Wenn ich es richtig sehe wird im 6.2 ein neuerer Kernel verwendet. Entweder funktionieren die Treiber dort nicht oder müssen in der Kernelkonfiguration aktiviert werden.
