Hi everybody,

OpenPli 6.2, updated on June, 05. Vu+ Duo2 2xDvb S2 dual, 2 incoming lines, A on Hb 13, Astra 19,2 and 5.0W, B looped on A, C on Hb 13, Astra 19,2 and 5.0W, D looped on C.

Oscam-emu installed from plugin list. Viaccess card BisTv 6.0, Pcmcia module Smit Secure dual ACS 3.0 (5.0 tried too)

I have some problems for which I cannot find a solution:

- Sometimes, when browsing channel list, Vu stop working, freeze and I have the little "round" signal at the left top of screen saying "wait...." but nothing happens, only way is to cut off power...

- A long list of programmed events as records. I have one, weekly, duration 3 hours, for the 2nd time, it has recorded only 1 hour!

- Sometimes, as said by other users, records are black and with a duration of 24 or 25 hours.

- Oscam-emu, often had to be restarted, because of black channels, card OFF.

- If my Viaccess card and Pcmcia module is inserted, I can record something scrambled by this card, but other channels are black, the channels managed by Oscam too.

- Tried to use 2 Pcmcia Viaccess modules and card concurently, not working. Pr2 told me to install "opkg update and opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-commoninterfaceassignment" but the only opkg found in Plugins is opkg tools, that I have installed, but not found anywhere after and I don't no what to do with this...

Sorry for this long list of problems, for which I hope that a solution maybe found, because I really would like to use all of the capabilities of this receiver and OpenPli, that for me is verry useful and user friendly.

Thanks for the help.

Raymond

Hi,

What I gave you are command lines.

Connect with telnet from your PC to you VU+:

opkg update

opkg install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-commoninterfaceassignment

Reboot the box, go into Softcam/CI and there you will find the common interface assignment and there you can assign what you want to be decoded from the CAM module.

Just logon to your box with a telnet client like putty and run de 'dmesg' command.  Copy/paste the screenoutput into a textfile and add it as attachment.

Because spinners are often a sign of a crashed driver and dmesg may confirm that.

You can copy and paste the last 50 lines.

This one doesn't show a driver crash, but I suspect it's not taken after the spinner started.

Ok, I have done the dmesg when working. Next time, I will do it when in crash with the spinner. Sorry, I was thinking that it was a kind of "whocrashed" with a log...

Hi all,

same problem here with an ET9000 on OpenPli 6.2 (Enigma Version: 2018-06-01, DVB driver: 2018-04-12). No dmesg output available at the moment.

Does your channel list include IPTV channels?

Today I noticed three different problems:

1. ET9000 stuck in standy mode showing 1/1 1:00 on display. No buttons worked, power toggle was not possible, only cut off power did work.

First thing to check is if your flash isn't full, as a half finished update could cause the box to become instable.

The first two are crashes in the dvb driver.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

And PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE only copy the last 50 lines. We're absolutely not interested in the complete history of the receiver since it booted.

Yes, yet another driver crash.

The only thing I can recommend is to find a pattern in what you're doing and what results in the crash. And then stop doing that ;)
