Hi Guys

 

I am using an OpenPLi 6.1 image on an Vu+Duo2 with MymetrixHD Skin.

I dont understand why the picons for DVB channels are shwown on the infobar and channel list, but not for IPTV, but picons for IPTV show on the Duo2 display.

All picons where indexed with E-Channnelizer with channel reference.

 

Do you have any idea how i can solve this?

For Metrix skin the Picons must be placed at:  usr/share/enigma2/picon

 

Not on HDD or USB.

Thanks for your reply, but didnt work for me.

 

Curious is, i started to play with the "skin.xml", and on the following string:

If i change from "XPicon" to "Picon", all picons for DVB and IPTV are displayed on the channel list, infobar and display from the Duo2, but for the bouquet list none picon is displayed , just the default Metrix.

 

If i change it back again, i get the old problem, DVB=OK for all, Bouquet list=OK for all, but for IPTV none picons on infobar & channel list.

 

I think the solution can be solved on the "skin.xml", but i have no idea how to do it.

It most be picon, not Picon or PICON.

Or change the skin so it picks the default openpli picons...

I used picon and not Picon or PICON, as i said, did not work.

I use MymetrixHD because i just love this Skin

Strange, here it works fine, i have recently flash a new pli 6.2 on my solose, then installed metrid hd skin and picons to usr/share/enigma2/picon, after reboot works fine.

It is better someone changes the skin so ot uses the location where pli put the picons.... then it is really pli compatible...

Incidentally, they have also added some resizing rendering code based on Kiddac's work. If useful that ought to be added to the main picon render file.

Why does this skin need a different picon renderer... ???? Why not using the standard! I think this extra python code is not required at all! Just remove this code and alter the xml! Resizing we also have in there!

I think the question was about adding 5002 to OpenPLi, not about what a skin should or shouldn't do?

It is hard to believe (for me) that people are able to like the matrix skin, for me it is to much associated with the looks of windows10 which I hate

It’s openatv’s default skin... since when does our picon renderer not support 5002 ids? And again why does this skin need a different picon renderer in the fist place!

OpenATV's picon renderer also supports 4097/5002 references. So you are right, the skin should use the images renderer.

As nobody wants to say where THIS skin is built from for PLI, fixing it for those able to is going to be impossible

What do you mean exactly with "THIS SKIN"? A MyMetrix skin in our feed? Which exactly?

 

We only build our own skin and the one from Loui, all others don't publish source from which we can reliably build, they are ipk's in the third-party feeds we provide as-is.

The issue/subject matter is "mymetrixhd not showing iptv picons". As it is a third party ipk, not much can be done about it.

 

BTW, the reason it has separate renderers is that it was meant to be cross-image and some images do not have the renderers that PLI and anybody else who forks/feeds PLI.
