No, that was a general remark.
There is no such thing as "OpenPLi Multiboot". The boxes in question (the list you fished out of the source) have a built-in ability, in the bootloader, to multiboot. They have multiple bootpartitions instead of just one, in which you can flash specially prepared multiboot images.
You would still need OpenMultiboot in case the image you want to install alongside OpenPLi doesn't have these specially prepared images. OpenMultiboot boots the image in the boot partition, then switches to a different image. That only works if those images are similar (which is why we have always been against multibooting), it's like booting Windows 7 then switch to the dll's of Windows 10. It is bound to fail at some point...
