There was changed default RC model to H3 (same as H7) model (will be distributed with rc same as using H3,H7)... try change remote controller type (there in input device) to H9 and then try reboot box...

Hi there. In the new openpli I would recommend to put to the installation wizard the option for the wireless network configuration. Now I only can go throught if i have LAN connected.

OK will check later, thanks for fast respond

another question

is there chance to change behavior or option

when PAUSE on remote selected then zgemma will pause screen but in backgroud will record, that after PLAY will continue to watch; more or less timeshift acting;

i know that there is currently this already, but it's less intuitive i think because currently i need to use RECORD then select proper option;

but sometimes i'm missing just simple PAUSE and later PLAY

Presssing PAUSE on a live feed starts timeshift, yes. If that wouldn't be the case, there is nothing to resume to when you press PLAY?

This is the normal behaviour, you press pause this start the timeshift, when you are back you start watching what your have missed out, so you are no longer live but in timeshift.

So yes the STB needs to continue to record because your are now watching football with a delay due to timeshift, if you fast forward to return to live it continues recording this is also normal since you don't stop timeshift.  If you want to stop timeshift, press the STOP button or zap to another channel.

It is not because you are back to live mode with timeshift enabled that the box must decide by itself to stop timeshifting, some people use timeshift when watching program live to be able to go back and watch again the last action.

Some people even enable permanant timeshift to always be able to watch back.

So you need to press STOP if you want to really stop timeshift once enabled.

Pr2 exactly we are talking about the same

OK I'm back and run several scenarios

zgemma h9s

openpli 7.0 rc 10122018

when remote selected to default - volume +/i, mute not working

when play/pause clicked no action that screen pause, only right-top corner error square

when stop same error

only what is active is REC red button

when something recorder later i can stop/pause/RW/FF all is fine so means remote is fine

set remote to zgemma h9/i55 plus

all is same as above

when

6.2 10122018

remote default

volume +/- OK there is on screen on left color bar with volume control

mute is OK

pause/play not working

stop not working

only REC working

on 6.2 didn't checked only one scenario yet to set remote as zgemma h9/i55 plus

one remark,

even if remote selected to zgemma h9/i55 plus remote on screen not reflecting to one what's in my hand, it's totally different remote

even made googling to check if my remote is proper, so all is fine, common

Update
I returned to 6.2 10122018
So in help buttom remote is proper to zgemma h9s;
Option for pause/play stop not working during live playback still.

What I found is what was the reason of not working for volume +/- mute... It was hdmi-cec option to push audio control to TV remote.

So this one is solved.

But for 7.0 and 6.2 timeshift still is the issue for me

Could also be an issue in the driver, the key mapping is diffferent for seperate keys and toggle keys, it could be the driver passes the wrong key code.

Any other H9 users that can confirm this?

7.0rc flashed again:

vol+/-  ...  works

mute ... works

timeshift play/pause ... works

With input device as "default" (rebooted box after each change in input device). Tried my h9s (=type25) remote and h7s (=type21 = H3)

Could you put here photo your's h9s remote controller ? There were several changes by producer (2 layouts of type25, then replaced with H3 (type21)  ...

As skin I'm using pli-fullnighthd
So I do have have on list
default
Zgemma h.s/h.2s/h.2/h5/h7
Zgemma star s/s2/h1/h2

When selected default, remote working ( beside All what I raised previously - timeshift)
When second selected, when it asking me to save setting remote not responding, time is going to 0s and then remote working once more
Third same as previous

In general I do not have option for h9s only to select

If you have not H3 (H7) remote controlled (It should be boundled newly with H9S), then you cannot use h.s/h.2s/h.2/h5/h7. And s/s2/h1/h2 is not for H9.

You can use "default" or "H9/i55 Plus". "H9/i55 Plus" is under 7rc.

Install evtest in telnet, stop enigma with "init 4", run evtest,  use "0" and try press PlayPause, Vol+, Vol-, Mute ... see codes and write it here...

After it run "init 3".
