Timers can put the box into standby when they've  finished.

And when there is no timer and you just zapping and boom its going to stanby?

Ah, so it doesn't happen suddenly, it happens when you do something. ;)

I have that problem with my Duo 4K constantly.

If I don't point directly at the box, and/or I am not close enough, it sometimes sees completely different key codes, and does something different from the key I press.

Haven't had standby yet, the most regular one is that it zaps to channel 1 when I use down arrow in the channel list...

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

I have problem with subservice on sky de.

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/ActionMap.py", line 49, in action
File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Screens/InfoBarGenerics.py", line 2795, in subserviceSelection
UnboundLocalError: local variable 'tlist' referenced before assignment

Littlesat made a fix for this.

If you can tell me which box, I can run a new 7.1-rc build for that box, so you can test the fix.

This was also the problem with duo2. Maybe bluetooth remote works better?

Works on the other 4K models too. But not on the Duo2.

I've not seen this issue on the Duo4k. But note: distance between remote control and receiver is very small (between 50 and 10 centimers) and I am not using the original remote control (but a completely similar one, which is supplied with the Ultimo4k, yes, the IR one, not BT). Could it be an issue with the RC's supplied with the Duo4k?

VU + BT / IR Bluetooth and Infra-Red suitable remote control. Bluetooth only works directly on the VU + Ultimo 4K and VU + DUO 4K or with optional dongle on UNO 4K and SOLO 4K. Infra-red of course always works and also on the earlier VU + models.

I am sitting within 2 meters of the box, and it is a daily struggle. Sometimes it works, sometimes there is no response whatsoever (the white circle on the front doesn't light up), sometimes it just sees a completely different keycode.

Similarly, generating a "long keypress" is difficult, about 50% of the time the box doesn't detect it as "long", but sees it as multiple short keypresses. So for example I can't use "long EPG" for the multiEPG, I had to map the Audio button...

Hi,

I have also a Duo4K and own both RCU the IR and the BT and both are connected to the Duo4K in the bedroom, so my wife and I have there own RCU.

I didn't experience any problem with both RCU, but the box is much more reactive with the LCD4Linux disabled/removed. I totally uninstall it and the Duo4K is now really reactive.

Before this there was a delay between the key press and the box action.

I have also a custom script assigned to long RED and no problem to execute it.
