Thanks,
I already tested the openpli-develop-sf8008-20200103_usb provided by Octagon.eu in your forum but as it does not have the possibility of installation in multiboot, just tested it a few hours on flasch, since a request that I make, as much as possible loved that this openpli image was supported For the Blurayplayer app as it has other teams like Openeight 6.7 and openatv6.3 / 4, besides tv box is also an excellent multimedia box, my request, thank you and good year.

We provided Octagon with a test image from my personal build server, and they promptly put that online, forcing me to change my setup as my slow DSL was overloaded with feed access from people flashing it...
You can understand Octagon has received a right bollocking because of that, I was rather pissed off...

Good to hear that you pushed back, they drive me mad with their constant over-marketing

No they were aware that this was a home build. Some employee posted the file by mistake and immediately after I was informed regarding the available public testimage, I informed our contact and the file was removed instantly, but unfortunately the damage was already done.

The image is already virtually useless, the URL the feeds pointed to no longer exists.

At the moment the basic stuff of the sf8008 work ok but there is still some work in progress. Not only by us but also by Octagon and their developers.
One thing that still needs attention is the multiboot option which works ok on several alternative hardware. Octagon thinks different about the way multiboot should work. Depending the time solving the most important issues, which IMHO multiboot isn’t, there might be a separate RC for the sf8008 ‘soon’. And soon is very flexible. But don’t blame the messenger if it appears not to be so. There will be a public image if you notice it on our downloadpage.

Thanks for the update - the politest words I can say about Octagon‘s current multiboot implementation on other images is that “it works - just about“ - with no thanks to Octagon! Considering all the effort they have put in to make other features work, they obviously consider multiboot to be way down on their list.
