dear

regarding this new model from dreambox it will be support it or not

I don't think so.... Dreamboard support has ceased in 2013. Dreambox has opted for Closed Source so no support from Dream regarding drivers. The last Dreambox is the DM8000 regarding to OpenPli which is still 'maintained' as long as succesful image building is possible. And even this is likely to end very soon...
The Dreambox One uses OE 2.6 and python 3.0 and this needs to be present in the build environment...

it would be nice to have direct support of pli image

for the last released dreambox also because now the boxes have been very busy

decreased their price and resumed a nice market

but you can't have everything. :)

Why? DreamOS 2.6 is much newer and does everything OpenPli does. The only thing is that you have to get used to the GUI. Dream uses Closed Source development which is incompatible to OpenPli... As long as Dream does not re-enter the Open Source community this will never happen...

When you want to go for open source then it is simple do not buy a dream box... they left the path...! There are more boxes still cheaper that can do the same or even more on opensource... and how do you know dreamOS is more modern.... on which oe-a does it run?
Python 3.0 is something we have in preparation...
In addition it is still wierd the website of Dreammultimedia has no sign of dream one https://dreambox.de/news

No, that's one of the many compaints. The info comes from the official forum only. The site www.dreamboxupdate.com now has files for the DreamOne UltraHD. The official site is extremely poor and seems to have no updates at all. The homepage still shows the DM920 as main event.
More modern... Off course it is! Full 64-bit architecture and many new features that can be found on their forum.
Biggest disadvantage: Not delivered as promised: no dualboot yet! So no Android. No Enigma3 yet (only Python 3.0). Not all models available yet... And..... Due to the completely new architecture fewer Plugins

Others have 4 Linux + Android boot...
Python 3 is not that added value... it is only a work to convert 2.7 to it so it works again (eg print commands)

No Enigma3 yet (only Python 3.0).

I don't know where you get your information. There is no E3 and was also never ever announced. Also there is no python3 yet.

That's NewNigma2 the image.....

Which means DMM image + some tiny tweaks...

Real changes are impossible as the enigma2 binary is a closed source binary blob....

I don't understand why anyone would have interest in this receiver. It's just the same simple HiSillicon receiver that currently dominates the market and I am sure some of the competitors have exactly the same receiver on sale for less. With the advantage that they're open and can be supported by an open image.

It has no hisilicon chipset. It uses Amlogic S922X.

Simply ... wait ... :D

Quote

mimisiku's Photo mimisiku 4 Jun 2019

And waiting is EXACTLY what most people don't want!! Suppose the Dreambox One 'needs' 1,5 year to 'mature'? Technical progression will render the Dreambox One 'old' and people move on to something newer that works from day one... It's not having a lifespan of 10+ years like the old DM8000.. For €269 you can get a better deal than buying a half-ready box loaded with promise but no delivery.... If the box lasts for 3 to 5 years, you can count yourself lucky..
