Mijn installatie is uitgebreid met een SkyStar PC kaart. De bedoeling is dat de DB600 zijn kaartje deelt met de PC. Ik ben op zoek naar hoe dat moet.

de Skystar werkt met een plugin "wincsc", deze werkt niet i.c.m. cccam. Ik heb begrepen dat dit wel werkt newcs.
De db600 deelt ook met andere boxen in huis en dat is allemaal m.b.v. cccam geregeld.

Op diverse fora gelezen dat:
newcs geinstalleerd moet worden in dit geval op de 600;
vervolgens zorgen dat het cccam "server" gedeelte niet wordt opgestart met een commando "cccam-s". Waar precies ik dit op de 600 moet doen begrijp ik nog niet. Scriptje maken o.i.d.
Kortom, wil iemand mij svp even helpen.

What does it do?

This package will allow you to use CCcam on a windows computer with a DVB card.

Do I need something?

- A working dvb installation on windows, you should be able to view FTA channels!
- A linux based (Ubuntu 8.04 should work fine) installation on a virtual machine (VMware, qemu).
- A working CCcam setup on the virtual machine (including networking).

DVBDream -> works ok (use this for testing).
DVBViewer + SoftCSA 3.0 -> works ok (sometimes problems on channelchange).
MediaPortal + mdapifilter -> very slow (problems on channelchange).

The channelchange problems have to do with the filter system...
because of DVBViewers copy protection I can't even attach a debugger.

How to install?

The files in the windows directory should go into your mdapi plugin folder.
For DVBDream this is "C:\dvbdream\Plugins\pip00".
Open the emubox_plugin.cfg file and edit server_ip to the ip address of your virtual machine.

The files in the linux directory should go into the virtual machine where your CCcam.x86 file is located.
Open a console, go to that directory and run ./run_debug. CCcam should start...

How to use?

While the virtual machine and CCcam are running you should be able to watch the channels CCcam is able to decode.
At this time make sure only one plugin is active at the same time,
multi stream decoding is not supported in this version!
