For python on archlinux simply do

mkdir ~/bin
ln -s /usr/bin/python2 ~/bin/python
export PATH=~/bin:$PATH

and then you can build your image by using python 2

As I already thought. The file is included in images build by our thud branch. So no need to add it.

Unfortunately i cannot build neither from develop branch nor from thud due to quemu errors.

You can try now again with thud. At best from scratch. Both patches should be now in the build environment.

You can try to apply this patch: https://git.openembe...e9cbac81e4e834d

But most likely it's not enough and you also need to backport the other patches needed for qemu 3.

Maybe you find somewhere in the net patches. I have no time to look at it.

In the category of dumb questions: why are we building qemu? What would you possibly want with qemu on a settop box?

Qemu is used to build tools which then run on the box. Or which are needed during build process. E.g. python3 arm/mipsel build uses qemu.

@foxbob: Just installed thud image on quad4k. Then I installed serviceapp and started exteplayer3 via movieselection -> menu -> Play with ServiceExteplayer3

 

Here is works without problems:

And what is yours version ffmpeg?I have ffmpeg master branch.I collected on rocko branch-all work but this brunch is out of date.Assembled on thud branch-not work,master branch-work.Replaced only openembedded.Most likely this is my local problem, but I do not know how to find the cause. When launched via telnet Segmentation fault at the start of playback.

I used OpenPLi thud branch like it is in the Git. No other changes.
