No, it is advised that you use the auto-backup from the menu to create a backup on usb or hdd, and then use the flash image menu option to flash 7.2-release.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Pro (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Somehow I'm at a loss because I just installed a new image

After a new flash this morning I had the same problem this solved itNow in the update menu I get a message that I have to update another 168 packages
opkg update && opkg upgrade
In telnet.

7.2 stable has some problem. I tried many release date and 6.2 2020.03.31 but all have problem with playing vod on internet sample is 'http://xxxxxx.xxxxxx...515/180sec.flv'
new date image's playing some minute and after restarting receiver older date image's freezing

Hello, i have a receiver model "Zgemma Star H2".
I have actually OpenPLi 4.0, is a problem in my reveicer, and i put everything in FACTORY RESET, can you help with steps, how to install new system openpli 7.1?
I try but i cant, not understand to much. ???

The current release version is 7.2-release.
- Get yourself a USB stick, USB2, preferrably not too big
- Format your USB stick with a FAT32 file system
- Download the required image version from https://openpli.org/.../zgemma/Star H2
- Unpack the ZIP file and place the content on a USB disk, as-is, including folders
- Make sure the box is swiched off
- Plug the USB stick to the back panel USB port. Do not insert in the front of the receiver as it will not work
- Press and hold power button at front of receiver.
- Press the master power button at the back of the receiver to on position.
- Take finger off the front power button when “FLSH” is displayed on the front of the receiver.
- Wait, flashing the receiver takes about 4 minutes.
- “BOOT” will then be displayed on the front of the receiver
- The new image now starts...

In search menu, after a try, i have this message "There was an error in creating entry list Maybe try another feeds.."
On TuneIN Radio a search causes a crash.
