Hello everyone,

I recently switched all my local network devices to be accessed via HTTPS (based on self signed certificates). My problem is that I can't stream any https streams from my VU+ receiver (via PVR plugin). When trying I got the error "ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR"... (f.e. when trying to access "https://-sid:aa59795...5:C00000:0:0:0:"

Same access with http works without problems. Did anyone successfully test https streams yet?

When trying to curl that address I get the message:

curl: (35) error:1400410B:SSL routines:CONNECT_CR_SRVR_HELLO:wrong version number

Anyone any idea?

I'm on openPLI 7.2 latest by the way ;)

Thanks

Stefan

You're trying to use https to connect to a port that serves http.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.
