When I try to install the Youtube Player from extensions there's a broken dependency for twisted-webpython-gdata.

true, the twisted-webpython-gdata package is not yet available in openembedded.
I assume the developer of the player plugin already created support for it in his local openembedded environment, so we just have to wait till he publishes it to the world.
