Greetings all
I have NFS server working nicely on my DM7000 (services to run) and also my DM7020 (Pli Package Management) - both with Jade Final

However on my DM600 it just wont go
I tried through Pli Package Management to install NFS-utils but it never went green after run
So I selected another packages (NTP) and both got installed - rebooted but still no NFS running
I tried putty in
ipkg update
ipkg upgrade NFS-util (nothing to do)
I have an exports file in /etc
am I missing something obvious
output from putty below

[update]
after a number of reboots - still no go
I then killed smbd (by removing /etc/samba/smb.conf) reboot and suddenly I had NFS
your mileage may vary

ipkg install NFS-utils will not work, packages are case sensitive. If unsure about a name, try with 'ipkg list *utils*' to find the correct name.

But since you have some rpc process running, and nfsd exists on your box, nfs-utils must have been installed correctly (probably from the PLi Package Management plugin)

Which kernel modules are loaded? (lsmod)
Do you have a bootup script in /etc/init.d for nfs?

After the installation, you have to reboot the box, because the init script is started before the kernel modules are loaded (you probably noticed it takes a very long time, till it times out)
But after rebooting, it should run.
