The easiest way:

 

Menu - Parameter - System - Expert Parameters - Network

 

Choose you connection I guess it is LAN Connection

 

There you will find Network Browser

 

It will search and discover all your equipment which are sharing disk.

 

Select it and add it from there.

Then you only ever used the network browser after you imported the backup.

The thing only shows the desired subdirectories if they have already been added. At least with cifs and for example the FritzNas.
It is much easier to add the desired mount manually beforehand via the network mount.
I would also recommend this to everyone who knows a little.
It also makes a lot more sense than manually editing the files.

All my settings were correct except the Shared Folder.

I corrected and I have access to my NAS.

Hello,

 

I update OpenPLI to latest version to my boxes.

And I can report, that on VU+ Uno4K automaunt is not working.

the config file automount.xml is copyed. it's wotrks on Vu+ Zero (I have several), but the same config (i just copy /etc/enigma2 folder from Zero to Uno4K does not mount me my CIFS.

 

P.S. no problem with server, user/password. as it's a copy

How did you copy? With Enigma stopped? You can't replace configuration files while it is running.

 

Also, for CIFS connection parameters are autodetected when you create the mount. The correct parameters depend very much on the linux kernel and drivers available for the box, so chances are they are different for the Zero and the Uno 4K.

 

And finally, be careful if you copy using Windows, as the files are in UTF-8, if the copy doesn't happen in binary format, encoding issues may play a part too.

Hello,

 

I found an issue, and don't know why. but it's working now.

so, on VU+ Zero SMB by default set options: vers=3,sec=ntlmssp,ro

but on VU+ Uno4K & Ultimo4K it's works with options: vers=2.1,sec=ntlmssp,ro

 

any comments on this?

Yes. What part of my previous post didn't you get? I wrote exactly that.

 

So the CIFS kernel driver of the Zero supports SMBv3, and the driver of the 4K boxes doesn't.
