My bad, memory isn't what it used to be .

 

If it has built-in wifi, then the drivers for it must be preinstalled. Does the WLAN interface show when you choose "Network settings" in the setup menu?

In ethernet, there is no problem, with a static ip.

But in wifi, with DHCP on or not, it doesn't work ; when i lauchn the test, it fails and i have this :

Line 1 : OK

Line 2 : NOK

Line 3 : OK or NOT (it depends if DHC is on or not)

Line 4 : NOK

Line 5 : NOK

Yes, sometimes, it does, and sometimes not.

It's because of that, i wonder if there is a problem with the wifi.

It never ask me to enter my username and password.

If you scan for networks, and select your SSID from the list, it should prompt you for a username and password.

If he see the ssid the wifi adapter is working i guess, maybe he didnt change encryption so he has no encryption key field to add password.
Default value is unencrypted.

It's what i do, it never ask me to enter my username, only the password, and when i check the network, i have the same result.

 

When i come back to ethernet, all work fine.

Normal PSK protected SSID's only have a password, not a username, so thats fine.

I use Google translate, write in English, the forum automatically translated into Turkish. As I explained above, when I do it the way you say, it does not rewind. Afaik it should work. When you press pause, does the stream stop playing? You need to use rewind/fast forward keys << >>. Number keys 1,3 and so on don’t work.
But it depends on your stream. If it’s a mkv or similar it should work.

I need to follow up on a post by HWTest. I have Zgemma H7, in the flesh is OpenPLi 7.3, slot 2: PurE2 6.5, slot 3: OpenATV 6.4 and slot 4: OpenVXI 5.3 039.

This combination works well for viewing satellite channels.

However, for viewing IPTV or streaming there is a serious problem.

I use YouTube plugin, X-Streamity plugin, XC plugin and E2iPlayer plugin

 

These are the results of my test via images:

E2iPlayer= work

Youtube host from E2iPlayer= with great content falls, only button helps

X-Streamity plugin= for the moment playing stream, and then only the button helps

Youtube plugin= does not work. I think the problem with bufering

Youtube host from E2iPlayer= don`t work,  I think that this host is dead

So, the conclusion is that streaming does not work correctly. I'm not expert, but I have the impression that the problem in bufering, or path where the created buffer tmp (/ media / hdd / movie, or / media / usb / movie, or / media / hdd /, or / media / usb /

YouTube should also work with openpli... there are other threads here for the fix as far I understand... but YouTube it a cat and mouse game. It does work but how long will it take before an adaption is required.....

Installed a Zgemma H9.2H last night, enabled the WLAN interface, did a network search, selected my SSID, entered the PSK password, and was connected. No issues whatsoever.

So i have to search in my side.

All is fine in ethernet, i will try another time when i should have time.

Vu+ Ultimo 4K with OpenPli 7.2. I did the update to 7.3 and it messed up big way. Had the box on for an hour with the message "that it would take several minutes and box would reboot. After the hour I had to hard reboot and it restarted but my WiFi was gone and had connected a cable to it, which worked, and tried the update process again, which again failed. From the menu I chose to flash the image but I wasn't able to download load it since my HD was no longer recognized and couldn't initiate it either with a green screen every time. Lastly had to find an old USB drive to download the image to my computer and extract it to the USB. I tried 3 different USB drives and lastly I found a really old no-name drive which worked.

After the flashing it works like dandy but it takes a little time to make all the configuration all over and download plug-ins I had. I still don't remember all the tweaks I had done before so it's a small learning process of the box again.

If you have the Ultimo I do recommend to flash the image rather than update it. And you could flash it from the menu instead of the USB drive.
