Qviart lunix3 4k freezes after few minutes to enter on standby.
I think is known problem not resolved with drivers on past releases.
I m now on openpli 7.3

Old drivers have also some other mistakes, but this thing is fine. I hope they'll still correct it on one day.

Hola buenos días, pues el problema es que el ultimo driver que habeis publicado para Openpli, el que va en la versión 7.3 provoca que el receptor se congele a los pocos minutos de entrar en standby.
Una vez congelado no responde a nada ni por el mando a distancia ni por telnet ni ssh, solamente se puede reiniciar desenchufando la corriente eléctrica.

Aprovechando tu respuesta quería también comentar que los clientes que nos hemos comprado este receptor lo hemos hecho motivados porque grupos como Openspa, Openatv u Openpli ofrecen imagenes de firmware con nuevas funciones como la transcodificacion, y actualizaciones varias, sin embargo todos ellos se quejan de la falta de soporte por vuestra parte, me gustaría que llegara esta queja a algun responsable que pudiera modificar esta política y colabararais más con ellos como hacen otras marcas porque son estos grupos de desarrolladores los que le dan vida a vuestros receptores.

First try: set pmt mode to 0 on oscam.conf the box hangs the same at 3 minutes on standby

Second try:clean install openpli7.3, only install default astra channels, seen free channel and put on standby, after an hour the box hangs again, no http acces, no ssh acces, only reboot by rear button
it can not be about oscam or cccam..

cc120689, can we make with you some more tests (since Lunix is not here at the moment and it'll take me a while to test it myself). Can you put your screenshot from Audio and video settings? I understand that this error has something to do with the AC3 sound! We need to try and make a difference there and then test if the error disappears. What to change, I have no idea. Maybe turn the AC-3 sound into another position? Can you test it and report the results?

Yes, in ‘Auto language selection’ menu turn off ‘Prefer AC3 track’ and ‘Prefer AC3+ track’.

Also this AC3 > stereo, turn it off and try, if it still happens.

If there's anything else about AC3 on the menu(s), try to change it and test. If that's it, we're onto it and we have workaround. If this is it, we can report it to DAGS.

First test 7.3 with original driver:
At 20 minutes or so it hangs in standby, also verified that the error only occurs in standby.
Second test modifying the AC3 mix (yellow button), no change, the error appears the same.
After I have tried modifying all the possible audio values ​​and the error continues to appear the same, yellow button and then menu).
I have also tried leaving an IPTV channel before putting it on standby and the error still appears.

OK, Thanks for tests. Just for info, do you have your Lunix3-4k with external DVB-C/T2 Tuner or without it?
The old drivers have several bugs, for example on our main DVB-T2 HD subtitles NOK. There are more bugs. With the new driver only this one quite serious problem- on standby mode box crash.

So you don't have that external tuner? I asked to find out if this could cause this error. I haven't tried to remove it myself and if you don't have it, we can rule it out.
