I downloaded the firewall on DM 800.
How to start and stop firewall.
On Enigma1 it's available in menu, but on Enigma 2 can not find it under menu or plugin?
Thanks

- bump - as I would like to know to please.

I see it installs the standard iptables so from shell I guess. It is started when you turn your DM box on.

It does indeed install an init script.
The script does exactly the same as on the e1 boxes, it reads some file with IP's to which it gives access, other IP's are blocked.
If you want anything more fancy, build your own script / set of rules.

So the answer for @amr999 there is none, so do a man iptables or google iptables and go for it ..

You can edit the /etc/firewall.users file, that's what most people want (don't ask me why, I've never seen the point on having a firewall on a dreambox, as it's always safely behind some other firewall)
