No problem here. Get the latest version from https://sourceforge....e2-mediaportal/ and put it on your box. Enter your box and

That's how I always install it but python-youtube-dl isn't present on openpli 8.0 server.

I found it on the forum and installed it, then ran opkg install enigma2-plugin-extensions-mediaportal_all.ipk and it installed fine.

All multiboot images are missing (affects eg sf8008m, hd51 and many more). We need to check that.

Maybe a bit more of a begginer question from my side... In release notes i found this:

  • Update build ffmpeg 4.3.1 with included x265 Support

Does that mean, that older devices with DVB-T2 tuner as SoloSE can play DVB-T2 h265 stream? Because on version 7.2 this doesn't work.

Thank you for answer.

There is no "flash an image" via menu with OpenPLi 8.0.

As Frenske said in #1:

To switch to this version it is necessary to perform a flash via USB or from the menu.

As usual the new Images can be found overhere but it’s most easier to perform an online flash via menu - setup - flash an image.

No. Old boxes are not fast enough to do decode in software.

No, broadcom SoC's need codec support in hardware, and that isn't there. HiSilicon SoC's use hardware accelerated ffmpeg (so codec support in software).

It is missing from the mipsel feed for some reason, all others do have it. It is being looked at.

ChromiumOS doesn't start (DUO4K).

It never has. No idea why VU+ decided to activate it (it wasn't activated in the BSP in 7.x).

ChromiumOS works fine on original VU+ Image and on OpenAtv.
