Same deal with me.  Running OS mio plus 4K.  Was an effortless multi-boot upgrade from 7.3 and was pleasantly surprised to see a new version of Kodi in the feeds.  When starting a video the interface freezes and no longer responds to the remote.. First time just unplugged the power and rebooted.. This time I’ve got a video playing now and I’m going to let it run to the end and see if the remote works.

 

Seems to be an issue with Kodi itself as we have two totally different boxes.  I have no problem with the sound that is working as normal and the built in media player working fine as usual.

 

 

It's looks almost everything works fine. The only one problem is with KODI plugin. When i turn KODI the system is freeze and can't use the romote control keys. I can connect the box by "putty" to restart my box (Ultimo4k).

No idea what this is, the current version of the skin is in the downloads, pd1loi maintains that himself.

It looks that Mimoum01 has installed Develop and isn’t yet informed in what way we intend to deal with users that have installed develop.

develop always has the latest version, nothing is pinned on commit hash in develop.

The version you are referring to isn’t in the feed yet so you’d better ask that specific developer. 
No need to write in the way you just did.

I just noticed your request. He might better inform you why this doesn’t work properly. 
Beware that you only get support on the 8.0 or previous releases and not on Develop.

I'm still curious to know what version that is, since develop ALWAYS has the latest version, and the release version is maintained by the developer himself.
