Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

and what exactly problem you have with exteplayer? with installing it, or running?

I think the ServiceApp installs incorrectly on VU+ Solo2. I've tried several clean installations but IPTV 5002 doesn't work.

After upgrading my Vu+ Zero 4K to this release and redoing some of the configurations that weren't a part of the backup (e.g., /etc/vtuner.conf), my SAT>IP client no longer tunes the muxes/channels streamed by my Tvheadend SAT>IP server.
Doing a scan yields zero channels as well. I have tried some debugging, such as stopping the satipclient daemon and running it manually with the debug option. I have determined that the client is connecting to the server and requests the right muxes.
A quick change in the server to explicitly reject the unknown muxes indicates the server-side configurations are still associated correctly with the network, as the client receives distinct responses depending on whether the mux exists or not.
Could anyone please confirm if using their box as an SAT>IP client still works in this release?
Other than this issue, amazing work in putting this release together.

J'ai une DM 8000 HD et j'ai téléchargé l'image du 02/01/2021
Comme d'hab je mets ma 8000 en mode flash.
J'essaye de me connecter pour flasher la nouvelle image et j'ai le message connexion refusée???
C'est la première fois que cela m'arrive.
Que dois-je faire?

I wanted to ask chromium and Youtube tv doesn't work on vuuno4k? When I start it, the screen is black for a while and then it returns to the program. Thank you

I can't reproduce it, it shows mine just fine (Duo 4K). Anything special characters or so in your SSID name?

Two SSID one at 2.4 GHz and one at 5 GHz: Names "ATTENTION", "ATTENTION1". The 2 names aren't visible if i select one or the other.

For me, the latest PLi 8 stable build has a bug. Timer recording is not starting when box is in standby mode (not deep standby). On PLi 7.3 working without problem.

install from plugins >systemplugins> serviceapp , ffmpeg and exteplayer3 will install in /usr/bin, move copies to iptvplayer_rootfs/usr/bin
remeber about permissions
Have you tried this on OpenPLi 8?
Of course I installed ServiceApp, however it does not bring the desired result. This works with other images, but not with OpenPLi 8.Secondly, you did not specify which box it was. My box is a Zgemma H7s
tak samo mam na VU ULTIMO 4K i open Pli 8
so I only have VU ULTIMO 4K and open Pli 8

Mijn schotel is een T90 met 10 LNB's. Daarnaast voor de fun nog een draaibaar systeem met een Triax TD 78.
Dreamboxen heb ik niet meer echt actief. Verder heb ik ook nog een een VU+ duo2 met 500Gb harddisk + een VU+ Uno, Zero, Solo 4K, Ultimo 4K, Zero 4K, Uno 4Kse. + ook nog een Xtrend ET7x00. Daarnaast heb ik ook nog diverse andere modellen w.o. een Formuler F4, ET8500, ET7500, Mut@nt 2400HD, Xsarius Fusion HD se en verder nog wel het e.e.a. waarmee op verzoek vanalles wordt getest. Iemand moet het tenslotte doen. 
Los van de eerder genoemde modellen heb ik nog wel een rits aan testsamples als Mut@nt 2400HD, HD60, GB UE4K, GB Trio4K, Maxitec Multibox combo en Twin, Octagon sf8008, sf8008 mini en last but nog least enkele modellen van het Grieks Duitse Edision.
Voor centrale opslag van media gebruik ik een Qnap 219P met tweemaal 2 Tb harddisks + een Synology DS414 met 12 Tb Totale opslag.

I just tested with a random available reciever with an internal harddisk and the timer-recording worked without any issues while the box was in standby.
Perhaps there is something wrong with your mounts. Just a random hint.

Here the screen, when i try to go to the plugin section.
I have tried to delete the Openwebif extension and reinstalled it, but always the same error.
