Hello!
I updated via menu LATEST openPLI 6.2 to openPLI 8.0. And got neverending "Booting" on my GI ET7000 mini. Tryed to flash via USB, but STB doen's see any of my USB devices.
How to fix this issue?
Posted 13 March 2021 - 15:12
Does it reboot or does it restart Enigma?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.
Many answers to your question can be found in our new and improved wiki.

Ok, if you can login, it is Enigma crashing (and auto-restarting).
Check /home/root for crash logs, and see if you can find the cause. Could for example be a plugin that is no longer compatible.

You have a kernel crash when loading the drivers. What happens if you now flash 8.0 (or develop) again, from the menu?
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Ok. Could be simply data corruption somewhere.

That is where the error message comes from yes. But the root cause was a memory addressing crash in the kernel, which causes the drivers not to load.
