if u r installing open multiboot from feed .it will not work properly reason is to simple as the enigma2 is updated day by day but has never tried to update feed server . 

If u want a openpli as flash image u should try this ipk .  ( its my tested with solo4k )

2nd option u have is to try  opendriod as its patched OPD multiboot plugin works fine .

Personally I have tried BH as flash image and it works more better than others . 

anyway if u still want to use openpli as  flash image then neoboot is the only best option which is most compatible and working multiboot plugin in its range .u can find it through google . 

Nothing to do with both OpenMulti and even neoboot installs it but it is not available in the plugins.

My solution will soon be posted.

I don't want to rage but it is a very negative note for PLi.
All the others are working fine except yours!

Even today I uploaded a backup of the VTi which as known is the most difficult to the multi, result ok.
Very strange.

We dont really care, if the manufacturer doesn't support Multiboot, we don't either.

 

If other solutions don't work, contact the author of that solution, don't complain here.

I would not allow myself to complain here from you, the problem in my useless judgment lies in the fact that PLi does not want to implement this software in the image. I understand that for you it does not matter but it is how to align with the rest of the Open world that has provided. Everyone can prefer the PLi in flash but have the opportunity to try others and it is normal. It is not normal to "allow" the opposite which means ... we don't give a C about others ....

Ok I will try again neo, but I wonder why the most common multi does not work only on the PLi while in all the other open it works correctly.

Vu+ is not supporting true MultiBoot nothing we can do about it. If you need to use MultiBoot you should have purchased a box that natively support it.
OpenMultiboot is just changing the mount point to allow to try other images but this can result in conflict between OE-Alliance images and OpenPli and this is what you experience here. Some image goes change some stuff in the common mounted part.
You cannot conclude anything about any image when using it with OpenMultiboot since you don't run the true full image.
I totally stop using OpenMultiboot due to all those problems.
If I want to test different image I flash them normally in the VU+ or I use the MultiBoot of the Gigablue Trio 4K.
So if you are unhappy with OpenPli feel free to use any other image that better fits your needs. That's the main advantage of our boxes.

If we had control over the kernels the best for testing images would be to implement kexecboot.

 

The first kernels just kexec's the others residing on other partitions/other media.

 

I and dpeddi spent some time with vuduo2 but the 3.13 kernel just lacks some patches and does not survive to kexec.

Maybe for arm STB's the situation is better.

I had already written in post 21 that neoboot is not installed in any way even by hand.

Maybe it's the same situation as this:

So I think something is missing in the deco firmware.

I see you have VU + have a chance to try in a UNO 4kse?

Yes I have tried neoboot in Duo4k  duo2  and one of the my friend have uno4kse he has  neoboot in his unko4kse with openpli . that box I have used more than a week when he was out of city due to his job .

Ot cannot open a simple file on a mount.... something not mounted !!!
