Sharing DM 800 HDD

I have external hdd connected to my box . I would like to share this HDD on my home network. What plug in i have to install in order to do this?

It should be sharing already check out \\theipaddressofyourDM800\ from your file manager on a wintel box, or smb://theipaddressofyourdm800 on many linux distro's

change the workgroep in the dm to your own network, /etc/samba/smb.conf

restart the box.
