it should follow the userinterface language, there is no other setting.

I have an opinion, it deserve to make option for choose default languages in order as it is with subtitles. Could somebody forward this wish to developers?
It would allow to choose languages, which are familiar for owner of DreamBox. Specially at C+ Nordic, were are EPG in many languages and default will appear in case of English user interface a Swedish....

you can ask your wanted features at the DMM forum so it can be implemented in the Enigma2 repository
