hi.
I'm using the latest version of openpli 4 image on my vu+solo hd reciver.
when i power off the device, it goes to standby mode. how can I change this to go to deep standby mode instead of standby mode everytime I power it off?
thx a lot ...

openpli 4?, really, long press on power key tried?
yes openpli4 . latest version is about 2020.
actually the remote control is out of order so i have to use some android app for controlling reciver from my cell phone, so I can't use long press button.
also in front panel of reciver, long press doesn't work.

From (I think) OpenPLi 7 you can use the hotkey function to remap the power key. OpenPLi 4 doesn't have that feature.
Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)
Due to my bad health, I will not be very active at times and may be slow to respond. I will not read the forum or PM on a regular basis.

Can't you go to the power menu using your Android app ?

@gspock:
If OpenWebif can go to Deep Standby, then any Android APP (designed for Enigma2) should be able to do that.
BTW, it is also possible to write a shell-script ("/usr/script" folder) that uses OpenWebif to switch to Deep Standby. You will then assign this shell-script under some HOT KEY on your RCU.
#!/bin/sh wget -q -O - "http://127.0.0.1/api/powerstate?newstate=1" > /dev/null 2>&1
