https://github.com/O...38a54f8005658e2

Unfortunately still -URLError HTTP Error 500: Internal Server Error- for me.

You can try file before online update.

Upload file to

/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/

Restart Enigma2 and remove file after test, otherwise it will be always there and block all online updates for ImportChannels.pyc.

My knowledge is too limited, I will have to wait until the problem is solved.

I dragged the file to that directory but there is already a file with almost the same name ImportChannels.pyc your file has a different extension .py

Yes URLError HTTP Error.

Load channel settings with another way for the time being.

For me, both boxes channel settings loaded with DreamboxEdit and no problem.

I always could sent the channel list to the mother reciever solo2 with dreamboxedit.

But the option "Import data from an external receiver" doesnt work on the solo with python3.

With Openpli 8.2 the channel list is imported from the Solo2 to the Solo.

That error HTTP 500 is an error message from the server box, not from the client box.

When i install python3 on the solo2 server box, and openpli 8.2 on the solo client box, the solo set to fallback tuner, the solo gets the channel list from the solo2, no error HTTP 500 everyting is working.

So why is there no error message from the server if the client has 8.2 installed?

The client has a bug causing the server error 500 with python3.

would make sense?

It might be caused by https://github.com/O...e51a00f096d5567, I'm not sure how up to date the python3 branch is?

The sooner we can replace develop by python3, the better...

Yes indeed, one merge conflict

Forgotten, sorry.

The mix of a regular merge and git rebase makes a complete mess with a new rebase...

I've checked the commits after the cherry-pick party, and all commits from May 18 till now must be in python3 branch.

My first observations:

Plugin Extensions/EPGSearch failed to load: No module named 'EPGSearch'
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Components/PluginComponent.py", line 55, in readPluginList
    plugin = my_import('.'.join(["Plugins", c, pluginname, "plugin"]))
  File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Tools/Import.py", line 2, in my_import
    mod = __import__(name)
  File "/usr/lib/enigma2/python/Plugins/Extensions/EPGSearch/plugin.py", line 8, in <module>
    from EPGSearch import EPGSearch, EPGSearchEPGSelection
ModuleNotFoundError: No module named 'EPGSearch'

and ImportChannels.py is still very buggy, it crashes left, right and center.

I'll see what I can do, weather permitting...

Must be missing the "." to make the import relative...
