I have OpenPLi  8.3 in flash and Openpli develop in slot 3 .But I have noticed flash image has copied its addons/plugin in develop image .Even I never use restore backup command . any tip to avoid overwrite it .

If you have a hdd or an USB stick connected and you enable OpenPLi autobackup then it create an automatic backup of your image (exemple /media/hdd/backup).

When you flash an image if it finds the backup folder it will prompt you if you want to restore the setting, the default answer is Yes so it starts automatically the restore if you didn't select No during the timer period.

 

So next time that you flash develop carefully watch the TV screen when it first boot and reply now to AutoRestore.   

 

If you are using the online flash feature the fact to select flash without backup will just not create a backup, it has no impact on the reboot so you are always prompted to restore settings.

Yes I have attached usb and I know it creates automatic back . But I have carefully checked it never to restore backup 

Yes I use it online flash feature without backup. But its very strange after the basic settings when I saw in plugins menu there were some addons already installed like

Multistalker 

Mediaportal 

E2 Iplayer 

Kodilite 

Although these are installed in flash image .

If the box finds a backup after it has restarted after a flash, it will automatically restore it, unless you answer no to the question that pops up.

There is a WLAN connection problem if DHCP is disabled since the last two releases (24th and 26th of Feb) on Ultimo 4K. The problem is that after each restart of the box, the DNS is reset to 0.0.0.0. and you'll have to enter it each time manually again and again if you want internet working. If DHCP is enabled all is OK.

 So, if manual network settings are set, the connection is OK, but no internet unless you enter manually the DNS. Then all is OK until you restart the box. After the restart, it shows the box is connected, but due to DNS reset to 0.0.0.0. no internet until you enter it again. Hope somebody can test and confirm if can reproduce the bug and apply fix for it.

And with dhcp enabled and you arrange the static ip via the router and do you have the dynamic ip out of range of the router’s dhcp?
