Maybe it’s just me again but it’s true. There is an ultimo4k a Wi-Fi5 connection, but when Wi-Fi2 is the same.Wi-Fi works well but sometimes after starting the receiver from standby mode, the receiver does not receive an IP address from the router, although the icon shows that there is a network.I go to the network settings and reboot the network and everything is back to normal.This does not always happen, but it started after changes related to dns.

All "py3" images based on OE-A are compatible with satipclient plugin and working fine (self tested). Maybe it is possible to make this plugin compatible on Pli py3?

Working perfect also on OpenPLi 8.3 image. The point is to rewrite it from py2 to py3 and then I can make the tests.

There is the client, and a plugin that manages the client.

 

As it costs you a complete tuner, it isn't used very often, most people use streams or the fallback tuner instead.

There are many ways to build the SAT>IP server. The easiest is to follow by this instructions

Second way is to buy the professional SAT>IP server like this (I have this one)

After when You set up the server then the E2 clients can receive the sat signal by LAN cable using SAT>IP client plugin.

I've been trying to set up satipclient for many years, but I've never been able to do it.

Help me with this, and I will adapt the plugin for py3.

My configuration:

 

Lunix3-4K(openPli 8.3) LAN static ip 192.168.1.102(tuner A DVB-S)

GigaBlue UHD Quad 4K/Solo4K(openPli 8.3/develop) LAN static ip 192.168.1.108(tuners A/B DVB-S)

 

install enigma2-plugin-systemplugins-satipclient for all box.

Open plugin -->always "SAT>IP server is not detected."
