The BackupSuite Plugin fails when used on Edision OS MIO4K+. What can I do to fix this? Thanks.
It seems like the patch needs to be adjusted again.

Because the active contributors involved in the update to Hardknott could hardly achieve an update if they waited for all the PR.
Especially not when it comes to such repos.
If a worry-free update is desired here, a branch would be necessary.
Unfortunately, the question shows (similar to the VI+ Multiboot) that all the work on the actually necessary OE core is not seen.
Very sad.

In this specific case, I'm pretty sure WanWizard has commit access to the Backupsuite-PLi repo we build from. Perhaps he can apply the patch at the source?
Yes only WanWizard had access to https://github.com/p...BackupSuite-PLi and now you all are invited.
Do let me know if I missed any invitation.

Should be fixed after the next build is finished.
If you want to test it before, fetch the updated sh files from https://github.com/p...e/master/plugin.

In OpenPLi the Help button doesn't seems to work in BackupSuite. It's mentioned in the plugin infobar but it has no effect (in fact it should display the mphelp.xml file).

Should be fixed after the next build is finished.
If you want to test it before, fetch the updated sh files from https://github.com/p...e/master/plugin.
My build using the source in the link shows the same error on Edision OS Mio4Kplus.
The BackupSuite Plugin is not available on "openpli-develop-osmio4kplus-20230620_multiboot.zip".
The BackupSuite Plugin seems to work correctly on Octagon SF8008.
I will try the Edision again on the next nightly build.
Thanks.

No idea, we'll have to find a mio+ to test on, difficult to say without having the actual box.

BackupSuite still broken in Edision MIO receivers. Unable to find the kernel.
But something is created, just obviously not in the place where it belongs.
When you run the backup, you should find a similarly named file there.
Even the size of the file is given.

Kernel.bin never makes it to the bi folder that is created temporarily by BackupSuite.
Attached is a modified backupsuite.sh file that works as a test. The problem to me seems to be in finding the kernel, but I am not a coder or programmer! This modified file will probably fail or cause problems for some other box models that are not Edision.
