Hi,

I think you forgot HDMI version. For 4K60 you need at least HDMI 2.1 on both sides. HDMI 2.0 is only able to support 4K30. The Solo4K for instance only has 2.0.

I have very old Philips LED TV without any problem. Problem it seems is, that 4K60P support 'hisil' boxes only. I tried 11 boxes and only hisil boxes can display it.

Then you downscale it to 1080i?

Hi,

it is not HiSi only. I made tests with my Duo4K (not se) and tried testfiles up to 200MBit/sec. Main problem is HDMI. In this case it helps when the output of the box is set to 4K30 which might require a commandline command if there is no such option in the settings of the image.

I only have free 19e. Is there a channel to test?

Ralf

The VU+ Solo 4K doesn't even tune it.

Currently in use: VU+ Duo 4K (2xFBC S2), VU+ Solo 4K (1xFBC S2), uClan Usytm 4K Ultimate (S2+T2), Octagon SF8008 (S2+T2), Zgemma H9.2H (S2+T2)

Solo4K is tuning to it I also have the (nearly) still image problem with sound in background.

DVB-S2 10727 H 30000 3/4 8PSK 13.0° E

I don't trust the HDMI theory because my Solo4K is going through a Home Cinema that only support 1080p so the HDMI output is set to this.

I think that the box isn't able to properly downscale the image, if you carefully look you will see that the image is not really still, it moves for a few frames and then it stop.

You can timeshift the channel (sometimes it was the solution but not in this case) and fast forward in it and press play and the image will change (like when you zap in fact),

Try this

We are not talking about the same channel.

Check what I wrote to get: NASA TV UHD   DVB-S2 10727 H 30000 3/4 8PSK 13.0° E

The one you mention is just NASA TV HD that's not the same channel. The one you mention is working fine on the Solo 4K.

@WanWizard try the timeshift trick to see the picture, now I am facing the black screen too but activating timeshift display one image.

Image grabber is not working even in pause in timeshift in OpenWebif the screen remains black.

Hardly but I final can take a grab:

Yes. There on 13.0E are 2 services ... "NASA TV HD" (11373H) and "Nasa TV UHD" (10727H). Problematis for non hisil boxes is "Nasa TV UHD".

I perform the 2160  60Hz test on the Duo4K same problem 2 frames and then nothing more just sound.
