About VU+ decoders, it happens on open images like PLi or ATV (don't know if all oe-alliance), images based on openvuplus code like BlackHole or VTI don't have this issue.

No problems also on DreamOS images.

Oscam 11708 also fix the problem but it needs the ignore (1FFF) in oscam.dvbapi, while 11711 does not.

It doesn't happen only on Rai with Tivusat, but all those channels that are sometimes encrypted and sometimes not

I resume this post to Claim that 11711 has partially solved the problem because when RAI encodes despite having the official card, it is not seen while all the others from TVSAT do. I have tried both ncam and cccam and the RAI is ok when encoding.
How to solve?

11711 solves a problem when a dutch cable-provider (in this case: ziggo) uses a fake encryption on a FTA channel.

 

It was not a fake encryption, CAID 0000 is a flag which is set in lamedb during scanning to fast identify encrypted channels.
The problem is that the same CAID is registered also when a channel switch from scrambled to FTA and is sent through CA PMT to DVBAPI with an ECM Pid 1FFF (because there aren't real ECM Pids)
The other problem is that all registered CAIDs inside lamedb are sent to DVBAPI even if a channel is FTA, always with the same pid 1FFF.
The third problem was that DVBAPI didn't clear the old pids after a PMT update command, this was unavoidable without the fixes of the 11705.
With the 11711 Oscam ignores CAID 0000, ECM pids 1FFF with all CAIDs (exept for BISS) and it clears the old pids when there is a PMT update, so all problems solved.

What is your problem, you don't see RAI when is scrambled?
Have you deleted the oscam.dvbapi file?
If not, delete it and restart Oscam.

Practically the updated oscam from the panel has an empty dvbapi and in previous versions I had remedied by putting:

Now as I said above with dvbapi from the panel that the RAI is empty when it encrypts despite having the original card you can't see it.

Since yesterday I have remedied a recent oscam.dvbapi (I don't remember where I got it from) and the encrypted RAI can be seen.

I have to test the decoder for a few days to see if it still hangs like it did before 11711.

If all the other tivusat channels work and only few RAI ones don't, there should be a setting somewhere that block them.

Those RAI channels must work without any settings in oscam.dvbapi.
Ignoring CAID 0000 with oscam.dvbapi was not a good solution for this problem because it works only for the first case and not for the others.
I don't remember with the old Oscam builds, but with the recent ones CAID 0000 is no more a valid option for the ignore command.

If you do this:
I: 0000:000000:0d4a # Rai 2 HD
is like doing this:
I: ::0d4a
it practically blocks any Oscam activity for the entire service (always)

Check if there are old configuration files left in these directories:

/etc/tuxbox/config
/etc/tuxbox/config/oscam (this is the default with OpenPLi)
/config/oscam
/usr/keys
/var/etc
/var/etc/oscam
/var/keys
/var/oscam
/var/tuxbox/config

With the oscam pre 11600 everything was regular, then the mess started to the point of blocking the decoder.
I previously remedied with a dvbapi made to ok and it did not block the decoder with over the 11600 but you could not see the same, for me it was important not to block the decoder and I saw them with the DTT, but yesterday I put a complete dvbapi and everything is back to work.
I have checked everything and there are no previous residues.

Simple.. Use OScam 11711 or use the oscam.dvbapi solution…. I never experienced the ‘freezing’ of RAI but maybe that’s because I have a TiVuSAT card….

Maybe you put a different oscam than the one the PLi provides.
