I have Zgmma H9 Twin, I have DVB-T as DVB-USB-DIB0700 Dongle, after installing the DVB-USB-DIB0700 driver after restart, DVB-S and like DVB-USB-DIB0700 heads do not work for me.

Hello! I also noticed that the sound has changed significantly. In version 7.3 or 8.2 of the audio/video setup menu, the surround speaker position option may be disabled. But in version 8.3 this is not possible. I think that's the problem.

8.3 is "disabled" : _("off") option

In graphical menu version 8.3, this parameter has 3 values:

1. center
2. wide
3. extra wide. Whereas in version 8.2 or 7.3 this parameter has 4 values:
1. center
2. wide
3. extra wide
4. off

 

But in version 8.3 there is a 3d soft limiter parameter. Turning it on or off doesn't change anything.

For the experiment, the avswitch.pyo file from version 8.3 was replaced with the avswitch.pyo file from version 8.2 using ftp, as a result of which the value turned off appeared. The sound from the center channel no longer mixes with the sound of the center speakers. Everything fell into place as before.

Hi everybody.

 

As I already said, for a few versions, I noticed that network access was rather slow.
There is very often the spin on the top left that spins for quite a long time when I ask to access my nas, by the mediaplayer.
Moreover, it starts again, when I watch an episode of a series on the nas, it is not noted as "view" on the gauge of the mediaplayer.
I had a problem a while back, but it was over.
I specify that my installation has not been modified.

Yes, the Duo4K is connected in wifi to my Orange box that communicates with my NAS by CPL

When I access the NAS through the mediaplayer, it’s quite long whether there are many files or not

 

For exemple : Duo4 WIFI Box Orange CPL NAS -> Folder VIDEO contains 6 folders -> Folder 1 contains 20 folders -> Folder 15 contains 10 folders and 13 files -> Folder 6 contains 97 files

 

when I looked at a file among the 97, it is only rarely mark as seen with a full gauge in the mediaplayer

 

Again, I haven’t changed my installation and that makes it that since some few updates, but I don’t remember if it started with the 8.3 or the 8.2.

If you have a network connection with high latency like wifi, this may take a while. Using CIFS / SMB to connect to the NAS instead of NFS may make things worse.

 

Like I wrote, the box needs write access to the NAS folder, so make sure the share is mounted read/write, and the user used to make the mount has create and write access on the NAS.

 

Also, the progress marker is only written when you properly stop watching a recording, using the stop button on the remote.

I always use the stop button.
the user has all the permissions and the shared directory is well mounted in read / write (In fact, sometimes the gauge updates well and sometimes not)

I asked because the PVR / Playlist button opens the movie list, but there is also a Mediaplayer plugin which you shouldn't use for normal recordings.

 

Here the mediaplayer plugin is even faster when loading the file list, as it doesn't calculate recording duration.

 

I've just timed it. My "Movies" folder has 758 recorded movies, which takes 11 seconds to open over wifi and an NFS mount to my NAS.
