This is present in the channels file:

This should be no problem.  Since the 2 instances for C+Cinema are cable channels.

However, I will remove both these.  But I may get complaints from somebody using these cable providers.

You are experiencing a problem with the cable channels.

Try to use only the sat sources (as indicated in the first problem)

 

I am puzzled why this is happening.  It should not happen.  EPGimport knows the difference.

Are using this for IPTV?

And has the provider made wrong links?

PassieXXX is dutch channel (cable) and has dutch EPG.

Nothing is remotely linked to PassionXXX.

Hi Willy, still got some problems on some EPG, sorry but i tried everythin I could. I erased EPG, de installed EPG Import but still the same problem:

 

BeinMax6  1:0:19:200B:430:1:C00000:0:0:0 Still mixing programs with Canal Cinema  1:0:19:2263:438:1:C00000:0:0:0 (Bein4 is ok for a few days now)

Golf+  1:0:19:2207:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0 and NollywoodTV   1:0:1:2207:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0  have a mixed EPG (programs mixed together!)

MTV Hits France 1:0:19:1F43:42E:1:C00000:0:0:0 is mixing its EPG with Cine Frisson 1:0:19:2267:438:1:C00000:0:0:0

Dorcel TV 19.2 1:0:19:2205:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0 and 16  1:0:1:301:9D08:16E:A00000:0:0:0  have a mixed EPG with Cine Classic 1:0:19:2269:438:1:C00000:0:0:0

 

I don't know what's going on to have such a mess???

 

Last thing, it's perfect now for PassionXXX and PassionXXX2 since you've added the passionaccess EPG in ero file but there is still a problem with PassieXXX in ero file. It's a different program from PASSIONXXX but it has the exact same EPG... I don't know where to find it...

 

I found a solution.  But I still does not understand why it goes wrong.  And why the work around works

 

In the etc/epgimport/ignore.conf  file add this:

CANALplusCINEMA.fr
CinecinemaFamiz.fr
CinecinemaFrisson.fr
CinecinemaClassic.fr

This will prevent importing EPG for these channels.

So you will be missing them.  This can be remedied by addding:

to the etc/epgimport/custom.channels.xml file.

 

And choosing not to applying the channel_id filter on the custom channels file.  (Disable this setting in the EPGimport plugin setup)

Still another EPG pb on XY max and XY Plus on 39 an 1.9: it only gives XXX as EPG... ???

Hi Willy, still trying to figure out why it's not ok for me... I've created a file called ignore.conf In the etc/epgimport/  and added this in it:

CANALplusCINEMA.fr
CinecinemaFamiz.fr
CinecinemaFrisson.fr
CinecinemaClassic.fr

 

Then created etc/epgimport/custom.channels.xml file and added

 

This will prevent importing EPG for these channels.

Still got problem on Golf+ 1:0:19:2207:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0 showing a Mix of Golf+ EPG and Cine Famiz EPG 1:0:19:2268:438:1:C00000:0:0:0 ... BUT other strange thing: Golf+ (19.2E) has the same EPG as Golf Channel on 13E 1:0:1:1D6:26AC:13F:820000:0:0:0 and Golf Channel 5W  1:0:16:CD:4EE8:55F:DDE0000:0:0:0 . In fact Golf Channel on 5W and 13E  has the perfect Golf+ EPG without Famiz mixed in it... So why don't you reaffect the Golf Channel EPG to Golf+??? And try to find the correct Golf Channel EPG???

Golf+  1:0:19:2207:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0 and NollywoodTV   1:0:1:2207:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0  and Cine Famiz 1:0:19:2268:438:1:C00000:0:0:0 have a mixed EPG (programs mixed together!): Nollywod mixing Golf+ ans Famiz, Golf+ mixing golf+ and Famiz, Famiz ok ????

 

Dorcel TV 19.2 1:0:19:2205:44C:1:C00000:0:0:0 and 16  1:0:1:301:9D08:16E:A00000:0:0:0  have a mixed EPG with Cine Classic 1:0:19:2269:438:1:C00000:0:0:0, why don't you use the Dorcel 13E EPG 1:0:1:4205:2F44:13E:820000:0:0:0 for these 2 channels instead? It's working fine...

 

I can confirm that I'm in Sat mode (only nollywod is in IPTV).

Indeed, this is a problem.  Just trying something.

It worked here for me.  But I realise it is stupid.  But I cannot find anything else.

Did some new tests:

 

1. Import with only the channels file containing the sat channels.

Result:  The channels mentioned above have mixed EPG.

 

2. Import with the channel_id_filter.conf filed with the exclusion of the movie channels:

(only sat sources)

 

CANALplusCINEMA.fr
CinecinemaFamiz.fr
CinecinemaFrisson.fr
CinecinemaClassic.fr

 

No mixed EPG anymore.

Of course the excluded movie channels do not have EPG

 

 

3. Import with the channel_id_filter.conf filed with the exclusion of the movie channels:

(general sources - also cable)

 

CANALplusCINEMA.fr
CinecinemaFamiz.fr
CinecinemaFrisson.fr
CinecinemaClassic.fr

 

No mixed EPG anymore.

Of course the movie excluded movie channels do not have EPG

 

4. Same as 3 - but now re-added the movie channels for 19.2E

 

Result:  No mixed EPG

and the movie channels now have EPG.

I have attached both the files I used for this test.

These have to be placed in /etc/epgimport/

 

And.... very important restart enigma after you have copied these files to /etc/epgimport/

Yes, it is stupid what I do.  But at the moment I cannot find another solution to this problem.

I do not understand where the mix-up is coming from.

 

EPG mix ups can have 2 reasons:

1. The XMLTV file has mised up EPG.  This is not the case here.

 

2. A channel is double assigned in the channels file.

I cannot find any double assignments for these service refs.

 

There must be a third reason, or I am overlooking something.

So until then, I found a work around.  (and I realize it is stupid)
