And are you also planning to continue that third mode as actually having the next event might have real added value.
Please note that the toggle text button is very helpfull here as you can instantly toggle instead of going to a config and back. And maybe the list/pvr button is better here

Maybe can add that next event in the future. But keep in mind that current two line mode is not so simple like the previous versions. Maybe have to try it

Maybe just do approx the same layout as the channel selector to put the list on approx the total hight. The same is actually valid for the timer lists….. lists you prefer to have as long as possible.
I also have something in the pipeline. The menu screens path and 10 instead of 8 menu options listed.

This is missing. It's available in the channellist but not in the description of a recording.

 

Have already added that... But not yet in the repo. will be there soon. I am looking to add more missing elements in movie selection.

Also the pager is missing in channel list.

Suggestion here is make the list higher so more items can be shown just like the service list and put the description below the pig and then left from the pig you can show a channel picon for a recording or when you have a movie a movie picture….
The same approx for the timerlist screen…

I am missing the day or date in the GMEPG. If you scroll horizontally,

you see the time of the programme in the upper-right corner, but no clue, if I see here "05:18", if that is tomorrow morning? Monday morning? Or some other day? I can't see where I am in the EPG.

 

And I find the selected programme very difficult to find (the grey on a dark grey background), especially when there are overlaps in the EPG due to rescheduling.

Hmm something is totally wrong in the MovieSelection screen....It works different on my side but i have many custom things and different setup.

Not sure what you mean by something wrong, but this happens if you have a programme that is essentially only 2 minutes "wide", because of the overlap in the EPG.

 

In the FullNight skin, the "selector" has a contrasting colour so it is easy to locale, but in your skin, it's grey on grey.

 

Also, when it comes to design, can you tell me why you decided to give some screen a vertical layout (like the channel list), and others horizontal (like the movie list)?

The channel list works very well, lots of channels, compact and easy to read description. The movie list only shows about 6 recordings requiring a lot of paging, and the description is screen wide, making it difficult to read (very long sentences, requiring a lot of eye or even head movement).

 

And as to the movielist, if the current selection is a directory, the description box is emty (which is a third of the screen), and it shows something like "1 January 1970, 0 min, 0Mb", which shouldn't be there imho.

In comparison, the standard PLi skin uses bright blue on black, which makes the small bar very easy to spot.

The screenshots I have posted are from after that change. So more is needed.

 

The problem is less visible when you only have providers with correct EPG without overlap, as then you always have large blocks (unless you have short programmes).
