Because of the GS on Nov 30 I removed DarkOS and I installed it again today. Perhaps the fix is not in the updates of today?

Today‘s update fixed the GSOD with that skin.

Installed DarkOS again (21:40) and it's working now. But still no decision about that grey square left of the info when you press <ok> while watching a movie. I know, there should be something displayed as "pause" or "skip" but it's still grey...

- the icon used to represent the cable (DVB-C) channels in the the service list looks like an umbrella rather than a cable  (can I advice you to use the same icon has the default openpli skin and turn it white).

 

 

OK Icon is changed to another one.... maybe better.

 

 

 

- the icon for the IPTV channels is colored while SAT and CABLE are not. I think that it will be better to use a pure white icon like then other rather than a coloured one (I would also suggest to use the same one as the OpenPLi default skin).

- the GMEPG doesn't look very nice, I miss the program separator (I really think that the OpenPLi default one look better). The currently watching channels line is full green for the whole EPG but are using the same color for the current program on other channels, this choice is a bit strange to me to use the same color to display different thinks. OpenPLi use blue for the current time program and green to highlight the line this is a better approach I think.

 

 

Unfortunately GMEPG in PLi is kind of different from other distros and if i make it on other distro to work it doesnt look good in PLi....Will investigate what can be done.

 

 

 

- I also prefer to have the Picture-In-Graphic as big as possible, in your skin the PiG window is always very small. I am wondering if it is useful to display in big the channel picon?

 

 

If PIG is bigger it will not have enough space for the other things in screens...So i am afraid that can not be enlarged.

 

 

 

- in the second info bar and when browsing the menus, is it possible to customise the background transparency level? Would be a "nice to have" option if possible.

 

Unfortunately not possible since it is combination of colors and images....So only option is to change transparency of whole UI via the settings....

I am not sure did @littlesat commited that change for pvr screen....Without the background code that will not work.

Yes changes were made today for that gray part…. But we still need a solution for timeshift. And in the latest build it seems not to be in yet so you’ve to wait for the next build.

In the movie selection screen the wait for loading movie list widget is missing. I thought it was included in my suggestion code.

Sorry the pager dots in the menu needs to be slightly adjusted… a few pixels higher as it can become too close to the path title sometimes… just a 2 pixels or so are sufficiant.

You are not supposed to. It is subtle. Go to the config screen where you adjust screen path add zap through the settings and watch the title bar.

I select small and I did made an auto switch to large when the screenpath widget does not exist in a screen. Maybe that is not working. So the title addon looks to the config instead of a widget having content?

Hmm it should working...Currently if the path is None or empty string it will be skipped and only title will be shown. (it works just fine here)

 

That is for config screens for example.

 

In Main menu it is fixed to small or None.

Regarding gmepg in vix and maybe the other oe-a images the gmepg is somehow clued to the other epg in the code. A big uge patch which was never merged back and at that time I thing more than 10 years ago too much work for me to get it merged. We are still here on the original ‘plugin’ structure for it. So here the fork really migrated and the code becomes more different. Someone needs to spend hours to migrate it -or- we need to find a trick that we can more easier adjust the skin or tweak the code a bit to get it better aligned.

I did not see the result of the addon yet and indeed it is obvious as usually what you offer simply most time works.

There is also in the titles a big room reserved for the time… so we have more room for the titles.

It works on my side.

 

For example Channel selection screen and audio screen has no path so that is displayed.

Is it possible in PLi the Screen path to be a space or something?

I have alligned it now to OE-A epg (in particular OpenViX) and this is the result
